I got a new nephew last week...So Aaryan got a new friend to play with when he's older...my sister safely gave birth to a healthy bouncing baby boy, weighing 4.63kg....yes....that was not a typo error....memang betol 4.63kg...:p....both mommy and baby are safe at home now...berpatang with my mom...tengok la gambo future BFF ni....suddenly my boy looks small di sebelah cousin nyer...eheheh....anyhow, welcome to the family...baby Zafran Khalis Bin Uzair...

So Where Have I Been

Ok... 3 weeks hiatus from this page... It's not that I've been away yg super jauh ke ape... Cuma I've been swamped! At work and at home... Byk benda nak story-morry ni...But let's start with one story yang paling kecoh skali - our girl Nia, was warded in Damansara Specialist again - making full use of my medical quota for year 2011...

So what really happened?

Memang I was planning to take 1.5weeks leave starting dari end of Nov sampai first week of Dec...kebetulan on Wed - 23 Nov (my last working day), mr hubster was feverish and so was Nia...so, that day, we decided to leave the office a lil bit earlier...went back home and amik Nia skali nak gi clinic..her fever wasn't that bad...temp was just 37+, but she was pretty weak that day...so at the clinic, tgh nunggu turn tu, I saw her face was quite pale...pucat sampai kuning-kuning dah...so when we saw the GP, I told the Doc la, ape pasal si Nia ni kuning skit...riso gak...so the Doc check her tummy....in case of any swelling to her spleen and liver...at this time she was quite weak...lembik and nak berdukung je....which is quite worrying since her temp tak panas mana..lepas da check, there's no indication of swelling, but we were immediately referred to the Hosp...makanya, went back home, packed our stuff and terus gi Emergency Room kat DSH... there, the doctor took some blood samples to do some tests...by then temp dah start to go up to 38.5...terus dapat one shot of voltren...since Nia ni ade fit history kalo demam panas sangat, so we hv to be a bit careful, cannot let her fever run so high...then we were told to wait for an hour for the test results to come back from the lab...maka, tunggu lah kami...

45-mins later, the doc called us back in, and told us we need to get her admitted...sebabnya, her red cell count (hemoglobin aka darah merah) is too low...her reading at that time was 7 and the normal min reading for any person is supposed to be 10...so 3 levels below the min amount...my feelings at that point of time - risau, takut, sedey, u name it, sume bercampo aduk... earlier, when we came in to DSH, we called her Paeds - just to inform him of her case ni, and he told us not to worry, it could just be a regular case of Keratin-overdose...nampak gayanye, its more than that la now... so before naik to the ward, they had to take more of her blood, cos now they need to do more tests to see the cause for the Jaundice - dah second round amek darah - mengamok lagi la princess ni...by then she was pretty pale and yellowish...so after all the processing, we finally settled down in the room at 1.30am...Nia was already asleep time tu - I guess tired from all the crying sebab kena cucuk situ sini... :-'(...my feelings masa da settle masuk bilik and watching her asleep - Ya Allah...risau and takut - Tuhan je yang tahu... I couldn't sleep the whole night and spent my time googling on the symptoms and possible deseases related to it...texted mr hubster who had to go back home to check on Aaryan - dia pon takleh nak tido jugak...eehhe....i guess, both of us had sleepless night malam tu...

so, 2nd day, Dr Musa, our Paeds, came is super early...7.15am he was already with us checking on Nia...cos the night before time warded tu, cuma kena check by the ER doctor...some of the blood test results came back as negative, so we still dont know whats the cause...Nia was a lil bit active on the second day...and can even play around and chit chatted as the usual...she was still pale and yellowish but the Paeds said, as long as she is active then its not so worrying...that afternoon, Dr Musa had to draw more blood from her...3rd time during our 2 days stay....to do more tests...as everything has came back as negative - again!...I was getting more concern now and very very very worried...but can't do much cos still tak tahu ape cause...so...3rd day came...Nia is getting very lethargic on this day...weak, loss of appetite and no mood to play at all...throughout the day, she didnt take any solid food and cuma minum 2oz of milk and a little bit of water and juice...so, we had to start her on glucose IV sebab kencing dia pon da start jadi kotor...partial blood test results came back and it showed that her red cell count was even lower now...6.3...if it goes below 6 there are possibilities of breathing difficulties, heart and internal organ failures, etc....my feelings? *cry*...hmmm....tapi bile org datang visit, control je la, cakap we are ok...so, that afternoon on the 3rd day...Dr Musa came and check, and he finally decided that Nia will need to do a blood transfusion...we were kinda hoping not to do it, since she is still small...there's not side effect whatsoever, cume taknak la kalo bole...the original plan was to get a second opinion from a Paeds blood expert based in University Hosp - but he was away travelling....so in order not to make Nia's condition worse, we had to have the transfusion quickly...at this point of time, i don't really care la...nak transfuse ke ape, as long as we can make her feel better again...so the nurses prepped her, sambung the wires and started the transfusion...tak banyak pon...cuma 1 bag of blood...at this time, i feel so grateful to whoever la yg menderma darah tu (marila kite menderma darah lagi lepas ni ye rakan-rakan)...so, the transfusion took 5 hours to complete and we need to monitor her for any side effects - fever, rashes, heat-flush, etc...

4th day...transfusion ended at 1.30am...wires are out and she's just left on the regular IV drips and some antibiotics for her fever yg dah start to subside....Alhamdulillah - there are no side effects so far and our girl is back to her chirpy noisy self...my feelings? Syukur Jazakallah...Alhamdulillah... my child is healthy again...

5th day...monitoring continued....the Prof from UM is still on leave, so we can't get the 2nd opinion still so Dr Musa decided to discharge us, since Nia's vital signs are OK now...Alhamdulillah...we got most of her blood test results...it's -ve for dengue, -ve for hep A/B/C, enzime checks are normal and G6PD is also normal...last one yg pending is for talasemia check and will only come back in 1 weeks time... so balik la dulu doctor kata...the chances of re-lapse: tak tahu...what if it happens again? terus bawak gi hosp if she shows any of the symptoms that we had before this, lethargic, dark urine, loss of appetite, pale and yellowness of the skin - check on her face, tummy, palm and feet...sounds pretty normal symptoms kan...mmm...any pantang or whatsoever? no....cos she's a perfectly healthy girl and since tak tahu ape cause sebenarnye, there's basicaly nothing we can do...

so follow up a week later...talasemia results came back and as expected, it's also negative...so the final rule is, doctor said, it must've been viral infection....(this is one powerful virus we're talking about!!...phewww)...so she's now on multivitamin precribed by the doc and folic acid - untuk tambah red cell...other than that, she's now back to herself seperti biasa...the final diagnosis that we got masa discharge was: Hemolytic Anemia hope this will never ever happens again...Sebab this is one scary parenting experience that I hope none of us will have to go through....Seeing your child weak and pale...Ya Allah...you feel so helpless and you just wish that you can make everything better again....I salute to other parents who might have to face dugaan yang lagi besar from us... sesungguhnye, this experience is humbling for me...for now i realized, how small we are and how precious life is....Alhamdulillah, Nia is all better now...berkat doa from everyone...Thank you all and Thank you Allah...and of course, thank you to Shell for paying our medical bills throughout our 5 days stay at DSH... :-)

Saya Suka Encik Serigala Yang Jahat

Last Friday, I took 1 day leave semata-mata nak pergi melawat Encik Serigala. Nasibla annual leave ade banyak lagi. Boleh la sesuka hati nak cuti - padahal baru je balik from maternity leave kan. Anyhow, Friday morning tu, sanggup pi redah traffic, and sent hubby off to work kat Gardens. Kebetulan dia pon ade course kat situ, so takyah la nak gi office kat CBJ. Sempat breakkie together-gether kat Gardens (on a weekday, kalo tak jangan harap la...although kami ni satu office, tak pernah pon breakfast sama-sama...huhu..) After that, exit from Gardens, passed by Old Klang Road and Taman OUG and terus ke LDP... Sampai la kat MAEPS quite early, 10.15am dah siap parkir hokehh.. kiasu tak kiasu...huhu...and yet, dah banyak dah kereta duk berderet siap parking taw....i saw the tramp already waiting at Stop C, so cepat-cepat hop on and waited for the rest to come on board too...quite impressive service they have here...the tramps are quite frequent, so takyah menakung tunggu lama-lama....tak tahu la how it is during weekend...guess i'm quite lucky sebab pergi on a working day, so kurang skit la visitors kot...5mins ride and sampai in front of Hall A...there's no queue at the entrance, terus je dapat masuk and jeng jeng jeng....WOWWWW!!...terpesona tgk the exhibition centre yg full of books!...ahahah....that place was HUGEEEE i tell u... and books are everywhere...mcm org meroyan jap terpesona and terkesima tengok buku-buku itew....nasib la Encik Suami takde skali...kalo tak confirm dia gelak tengok mata bini nye yg duk melilau takleh nak focus nak tengok yang mana dulu...ahahaha...

anyhow, taknak cite panjang lebo sangat...basically, i spent 1/2 of my day there...ahahah...browsing and browsing and browsing and still browsing...damages done for the day?...eheheh...not as bad as i thought it would be....i capped my spending at MYR300 papehal pon...so, after my selection-spree, i sat at a corner and re-calculate hasil tangkapan...and to my surprise, after choosing a total of 28 books, i only have to pay a total of MYR204....not bad at all...8 books for Nia, and the rest are all for me...hubby doesnt really read..so nothing for him...ahaha...tried searching for some boardbooks for Aaryan...tapi takde yg best...so, i guess this is my reading stock for the whole year....takleh masuk kedai buku lagi dah sampai Q4 next year...(yeah righttt!!!)...hheeheh....for now, all the books dah kena nicely arranged in the library at home...tumpang la library arwah my dad kat umah tu....all the racks dah overloaded pon actually....sampai kena perli with my mom....wahahah....nasib lah...mana nak cari buku murah2 gini lagi ek...sekali setahun ja...:p...papehal, enjoy the pictures...

Nak Cuti Ke Mana Ye?

Does anyone has any recommendations for a holiday resort locally in Malaysia that is children friendly? We are planning for our holiday next year. And Hubby doesn't want to go abroad since Aaryan is still quite young and it would be a handful travelling with both kids. (nampak gaya angan-angan nak pi Hong Kong kena postpone lah ni..bummer!). Anyhow, I've been looking around for some cozy places that we can go next year. By then Aaryan would grow up a lil bit more. For the time being our options are pretty much limited. Langkawi is definitely out since we went there early this year. So other options that we have is either Penang, Cherating or perhaps Sabah/Sarawak. No island trips for us, since we can't enjoy much and takleh nak turun pi snorkelling (although this is our favorite activity time berdua dulu :p) since we won't be having any Bibik around to look after the kiddos.

For now, I've only checked out two places. First option is Club Med Cherating. A lil bit on the pricey side (a whole lot la actually). For a 2 nights stay for all 4 of us, that will costs us around RM2700 (baik mek pi holiday over the sea kot :p). That price is incluvise of room rates, taxes, surcharges, gourmet meal all through-out the day, sports and activities. Kira its an all-inclusive price package la. Unless kalo nak add on spa treatment or Kiddy Activity for Nia, then we'll have to pay extra. Googled for some reviews for the resort and seems pretty promising. But I remember reading a blog somewhere (last year) that they had some problems during check-in. I'm a lil bit reserved on this kind of resorts actually - those yg mat salleh oriented. Sebab selalunye, the treatment that they give to a foreign traveller and a local visitor usually differs. But I shall reserve that judgement until I can see it for myself.

Second option that I've checked out tapi rasenye takleh proceed is Pangkor Laut. Huhuhu. Oh-so-awesome resort. But I think this is more suitable for honeymooners kot. One thing yg rasa 'bahaya' skit is the open air shower. Kang ade jugak yg si Nia terkezot kalo ternampak mommy or babah showering nanti. LOL. Tak ke naye. But if it's just for the 2 of us, this would definitely be in my list. Romantic gitew u ols. Bercanda underneath the moon, anyone? *naughty grin*

Another one that I like is Shangri-La Golden Sands Resort Penang. I know the hotel is pretty nice, they have a huge pool, the beach is white and sandy, and ade activity site for kids - which I know Nia will enjoy very much. But we've been here before for Family Day last year with Kerang and I feel like rugi la if we repeat going to the same place twice!

So, I'm open if anyone has any other suggestions. My requirements would be, nice+comfortable+clean+spacious room. Kids friendly. Huge pool. Anything in mind? Please let me know ya wahai rakan-rakan. Sabah/Sarawak suggestions are also welcome kalo dah takde yg kat Peninsular ni. I'm sure Malaysia has something nice to offer, cuma tak tahu je kat mana. Do share with me if you and your family have been anywhere fun and nice. It might be worth checking out.

waduh waduhh....sedar tak sedar...today ngam ngam both my babies are another month older... Nia turns 31 months young hari ni...and Aaryan is officially 4 months...Alhamdulillah, my babies are all well, sihat, gebu, montel, bijak and talkative!!!...ahhaha... kakak can go on and on talking non-stop...and i noticed this past few weeks, she can start playing with a wilder imagination....she can act out princess scenes from the disnye movies that she loves so much...on top of that, can even sing....she plays with her dolls and babies and speak to them in her own version of english...ahahah....tah ape dia ckp...pong pang pong pang bukan main lagi...english version pelat i'd say...:p...

as for adik...si dobot yg forever happy....he's never fussy...smiling all the time...nangis only when he's angry or sleepy...still not showing any signs of turning over to his tummy....and kepala pon still jugak duk head-banging...ahahah....takpela...berat kena tarik dek pipi kot...:p....

macam tak sangka plak, how fast time flies...goshh...rasa mcm baru je kluar spital...anyhow, i'm enjoying my time with both of them...snuggly wuggly time...everyday bau susu masam kena muntah dek Aaryan pon best je...akaka....perfume to mommy's nose...LOL...whatever it is, i'm glad to see both my babies growing up healthily, Alhamdulillah... next year kite plan birthday bash hip & happening lagey...:p

We are re-structuring, again!

Sesungguhnya, if u work with a MNC,u have to be mentally prepared for a re-structuring exercise all the time... Similar to everyone else who affected because of the previous economic meltdown, the same also happened to us, despite working with one of the O&G giants....so, tak semestinye, koje company beso ni selamat naaa...

Back in 2009, we had a major restructuring exercise...3000-5000 staff kena cantas globally....leaders not excluded...sume kena...across all functions and businesses....now, this month, another wave jadi...and this time it is specifically to the IT structures... lucky us, this time takde yg losing jobs...cume tuko reporting line, new structure layout and such...katanye to make it more effective ...tahu la how management talk kan...

this morning, i had a quick 121 session with my lead from Houston...and found out that my team will be moved from our current function and masuk under another business function....total revamp of reporting line...teruja? boleh tahan la...that means, we get to have a bigger portfolio...and that also means, i'll have a new boss nanti...takut jugak ni...hopefully boss ok and still flexi and understanding as what we currently have...when will this take place? April 2012...so now, its the transition period for everyone...

so like what they always say here in Kerang...you have to embrace change...darn it....kalo dah slalu sangat change...nak embrace pon dah lali kot...hahaha....so let's wait and see...and hope for the best...

Potluck at Our Pad

Smalam first time kami meng-organize potluck at our own place... ade umah tapi tak duduk...how how how...so, last weekend,we decided untuk pi tido kat 'Summer House' kitorg yang habuk da berkepuk tu... Friday night, spring clean...(ponat!)...Saturday....chillex the whole day and did nothing...lepaking at home tengok tv empat beranak...sunday... buat potluck u alls...ahahaha...nak masak for a guest of +/- 20pax tak berani...kang ade yg makan food masin la hape la...so, we make it as potluck...tak ajak ramai pon....ajak my close friends je dulu....trial run ni....rumah pon takde furniture kan...takat ajak derang-derang ni, takde la malu cos barang tak lengkap at home...keh kehkeh....these are all my girls from umah sewa kat zaman-zaman MMU dulu.... so, sume pakat bawak food masing-masing and anak bini/laki...punye la banyak rezeki...alhamdulillah....start at around 3pm...and lasted until Maghrib...selesai mop/vacuum/lap pinggan/buang sampai by 10pm (in between nak bersilat ngen anak2 lagi..mandi la...nak susu la...suap makan la...nak breastfeed laa...tak ke super-Mak ni u ollss)....flat!!!...perghhh..all the while asal buat makan-makan, we always have the help of my mom's maid...kali ni, my mom ade jugak offer, kot nak pinjam bibiknye sehari...but i said, no need...(fuh...dengan penuh confident)....we can manage katanya...hamek kauuuu...punye la ponat ngemas rumah....baru guest 20 org...kalo 50 org?...100 org?...memang mek cater je la...pehtu next day panggil cleaning serbis...wakakakak...

all in all, i had fun catching up with the ladies...dah jadi mem-mem sume nye....dah ade anak...ade yg tgh expecting...ade yg baru beli rumah...ade yg kerja tgh booming....zasss...happy for my girls...next time bole la organize lagi....yeay....umah Sarah plak, for house-warming...i jadik committee bawak desert..huhuhuh..

i know i've only been back to the office baru nak masuk 3 weeks...tapi tangan dah gatal duk start tengok holiday package kat airasia...kuang kuang kuang...tak kisah la...nak jugak share ini....

saje buat random googling....don't you love doing this...simply masuk any airlines website and tengok holiday package punye price range....for all you know, if you're lucky and so happen tengah ade promotion, dapat la good bargain....and this is what happened today...ekekek....

pagi ni saja la masuk airasia...fireflyz and mas takde promo yg menarik now...so i skip them...actually duk tengok flight ticket nak balik johor bahru bulan october ni...saja this time kami anak beranai gatai takmo drive....we decided to fly back sahaja....sebab si Nia teringin sangat nak naik plane again...tambah plak aritu pi amik Babah dia yg baru balik outstation kat Manila...lagi la sibuk dia duk mintak...so, Babah nye, layankan aje la....tu yg jadi kisah tengok website Airasia ni...then, saja la gatai tangan nak tengok international tickets...I've always wanted to take Nia to Hong Kong for a trip....so i checked the price range...tengok pi Perth, mahai la plak....hotel and flight sampai RM7k...tak jalan lar....tengok Hong Kong....danggg...RM3600 all inclusive price siap air flight ticket for all 4 of us...and 4 nights stay kat Dorsett Regency Hotel Hong Kong....not bad ni...its a 4-star hotel...menarik menarik....tapi travel period lambat skit la...this is in September 2012...September tu season ape ek kat HongKong?...sezok ke panas?...have to check that....rasa cam gatai tapak tangan dah ni...tapi apakan daya....takleh nak beli lagi...kena tengok calendar kurja kat opis ni dulu...if the travel period is not during my peak period....wahhh...cergas nampak gaya nanti....(kena pujuk sang Suami dulu ni nampak gaya nye..thee hee hee)

so, hopefully, I can get the Run & Maintain schedule for my process area for next year....cepat dapat, cepat bole plan cuti...Hong Kong, here we come....(angan angan...*wink*...)

So, yesss...I am back in the office officially since Monday minggu ni...Workload takde lagi....masih boleh bersuka ria....dah start joining meetings again....lots of things to catch up....boss pon dah warning lepas ni much buckle up...cos banyak project baru...tapi sementara kerja tak menimbun lagi ni, I'm still enjoying my first week...:p...so I thought of sharing this special room that we have here at the office - the Mother's Room - my favourite room antara sume sume bilik yg ade (ohhh..apart frm the rest & relax room of course :-) )...kat opis ni, if mommies nak express susu, this is where we go...alhamdulillah, I'm thankful that I'm working with a company yang sangat baby-friendly... Shell supports breastfeeding you all!!...ahahah...and as part of their support for work-life balance too jugak la derang buat bilik ni ha...enough talk....let me just share some pictures with everyone...

The room is pretty big....roughly ade dalam 20 seats available for mommies to pump serentak...we have curtain partitions to separate each other during pumping session....we have seats yg macam ala2 single seater sofa...and we also have seats yg siap ade table and a mirror...ala-ala macam dressing table gitew....on top of that, each set of seat, will have 2 plug points....one point for the pump, and another one is for your laptop (In case anyone needs to be working while pumping)...we even have LAN points available, but of course the whole building is wifi enabled....tapi so far takde lagi la tengok mommies yg super rajin yg siap nak buat kerja time pumping kan...ahahah...

also, in the room, are 2 fridges....to store the EBMs....we have 4 full sized sterilizers for anyone to use...baby dishwashing liquid...and lockers to store our pumps....and to encourage breastfeeding lagi, they also provide 3 spectra pumps for anyone to use....so boleh bawak the tubes and kit je and connect...kalo taknak gune opis, boleh la angkut pump sendiri dari umah....for me, i just leave my pump at the office, cos i rarely pump at home....petang-petang angkut EBM je balik....

Ya Rabbi...I've been checking my handphone coverage the whole day hari ni...pelik jugak...cos kat opis ni Maxis baru buat upgrade service for the network coverage...so harus la tiptop network dia kan...tapi ntah ape pasal, satu hari takde line..nak tweet pon tak boleh....then 1 hour ago, saje la try nak call out....skali out came this pesanan penaja..."we're sorry...your network line has been temporarily suspended until further notice. To avoid further disruption, please proceed to our nearest counter to make the necessary payments."... reaction: 'HAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! phone aku kena bar ka?!!!! oh-em-geeeeeeee!!"...

hadoiiii...awat la maxis ni....ni mesti sebab byk sangat guna data plan ni....ya ampun encik suami....saya tobat takmo main online game lagi...ahhaha..(main dulu tu pon sebab sangap malam-malam buta duk kena feed aaryan..sambil feeding, sambil gaming...ahahah....byk game free ade, nakkkk jugak gatai tangan duk main yg online..hamekkkk kau....padan muko...kan data plan aku dah burst...huwaaa...tension nye...dah la mek tgh kopak ni.....cos gaji last month half pay sebab maternity leave...tu pon dah abes spent for raya preparation....(fyi: kerang tak kasi 3 mths ML pon...kalo nak yg 3rd mth tu kena go on 1/2 pay leave)...haiyakkk...gaji sept ni pon lambat lagi...hubby pulak takde pi outstation kat manila this whole week...aiyaaa..camno boleh jadi mcm gini ni..iskkk....*slap*slap* own face....so how?...nampak gaya kena korek tabung laaa pi bayar utang kat maxis....huhuhu...

moral of the story??...toksah duk gatai tangan main online game lagi....pasni main angry bird je...toksah main benda lain...hiks hiks hiks...

whoaaa....lamanye tak update....bukan busy mana pon....but the thought of having to berebut laptop nak online ngen Cik Nia....terus pening rasenye...ahaha....nowadays, she's been hogging the laptop as though mcm terrer sangat nak guna....most of the times dia duk tengok cartoons lar....sampai naik pening mommy tgk cite princess...anyhow....just a few updates on us...

Raya went by smoothly....went back to my in laws in Batu Pahat for a whole week....before balik rasa mcm lama je 1 week tu...by the time da kat sana, pejam celik tup tup da time to go back to KL....tak sempat pon nak pi merasa makan pisang goreng pemes tu...adeihhh....next time balik BP have to make a point to go there...this is the first year we have Aaryan with us for raya....meaning, I have 2 kids plus one daddy to take care of during pagi raya....oh boy....berpeluh meks ok....no bibik u know....sampai tak sempat nak tolong sangat in the kitchen pagi tu...luckily my sista in law has a maid who did all the stuff in the kitchen....rasa bersalah la jugak....tapi bersilat nak menyetelkan budak2 pagi tu...ahahha..luckily i managed to get ready in time by the time hubby came back from solat raya...

raya aside...believe it or not...my maternity leave has officially ended yesterday....a total of 90 calendar days....today i am still on leave...tapi annual leave la....took AL for 2 days...and will be back in the office this coming Monday...oh-em-gee.....tak percaya je rase....3 months flew by us just like dat...sedih nak tinggal the 2 babies at home after this...da takleh nak golek2 in bed with them anymore siang-siang...:-'(

then next week mommy jadi single again...akakak...cos hubby is going for outstation for a whole week...so kite nak beronggeng ke mana?....thee hee hee...oki lar tweeps...i'm at the service centre ni...tgh serbis kete...gotta go...will update again next time...

so raya is just around the corner....are you done with your raya shopping?...baju raya anak-anak dah beli?...i betcha yg ni first skali on the list kan...hehhe....biasa la....kalo raye ni, budak-budak la yang paling syiok...and for mothers like me, i just love melaramkan my kids with new clothes and new shoes....this year, shopping baju for Nia, sampai over the budget....ehehhe....yer la, gi shopping malls, tgk girls punye clothing line, punyer la comei-comei belaka...mommy menggilak sekijap...ehehhe...tak ketinggalan for our newest and latest family member si aaryan ni...dia pon sekenit ni ade jugak baju raya....ade new tshirts, jeans and of course kemeja...i gotta admit, i did went around a few places, looking for baju melayu for a 2-3 months ol baby...ahahha....tapi harus la takde kan...my mom said, over lar kot kalo aaryan pon pakai baju melayu...aakkaka...ok what...harus cute!!!....:-p...

so what's your color theme this year? kami sekeluarga, had to recycle last year's color theme again...so it's gonna be grey for us this year...sebabnye, Babah refused to make any new baju melayu...cos he barely use the one that we made last year...so, mommy and nia and aaryan je la yg cari baju grey baru to match with him....for the first time this year, i bought all my baju kurung....normally i always tailor-made them...tak pernah beli...this year sebab baru sangat abes pantang, and tak sempat da nak anto baju kat my regular tailor tu....so had to go to Subang Parade and bought 3 pasang....masa beli baju, super stressed....cos my buncit tummy ni....i sooo hate my buncitness right now....mcm mana nak ade flatter and toned stomach ni...arghhhh....nak pakai corset, nanti susah plak nak breastfeed di hari raya....so i just hv to bear with the buncitness i guess...:'-(...

biskut and foodies for raya macam mana plak?....this year, i'm going back for raya at my in laws in Batu Pahat, Johor....my MIL ni tukang amik tempahan buat biskut raya...so harus la tak payan beli biskut bawak balik for her....so i just bought some kerepeks and agar-agar kering to bring back nanti....then ade some serunding daging too...so no nasi dagang la this year...hehehe...bau je la nasi dagang from johor...:-p....next year baru beraya kat Kuala Terengganu with my grandma...confirm meriah cos sume akan balik....teruja!!!...eheheh...

so we plan to go back hari Sabtu.....hopefully the traffic wont be as bad as i imagine....pagi tu nak ziarah kubur arwah abah dulu kat sini....then we'll shoot off around noon time, Insya Allah....what's your travel plan?...i heard over the news smalam, someone announced something about ikut plate number kete to plan for balik kampung journey...biar betoi depa ni....pelik-pelik betoi la...ahahah...whatever it is, just remember, to drive safely...think of your loved ones and your children....use your seatbelts and put your kids in their carseats too...

waduh...lamanye tinggalkan blog sampai dah bersawang...takde time campo too many things utk share sampai da berkeladak jadinye...:p...so, whats happening around us now...today, Aaryan dah 48 days young...Alhamdulillah...tak banyak ragam...at night bangun 3x-4x....so mommy sometimes agak zombie-fied during the day...ahahha...we've mastered feeding while lying down...so, normally subuh onwards, i will sleep while feeding him....so takde la mengantuk tersengguk sengguk sangat...akakak....sometimes, funny jugak...cos i will catch myself snoozing tersengguk2 while feeding...ye la...lama duk tunggu dia kan...nak baring and sleep while feeding time tengah2 malam tak berani sangat...dah baca all kind of cerita baby lemas duk feeding ni....so, tu la have to stay up...

so how is kakak coping with the new addition?... ;-).... jealous?...of course la....but she doesn't vent it out on the lil brother....in fact i think she loves Aaryan and becomes quite protective of him already....although sometimes tu, (banyak times also la)....berebut jugak la attention Mommy from adik...especially at night time nak titon...so i have to make sure that Aaryan is tuck in earlier so that, by 9.30pm, Mommy is all free utk baring baring golek golek with Princess pulak... but so far, I think she has been doing great...(with a lot of help from my mom and our bibik also la)...kalo tak mahu tak clingy makcik kenit ni...:p....

what about mommy?... I'm doing as the usual...not much of dieting this time...jadinye, my weight is stuck at 60kg now...huwaaa...horror hokehhhh....so, harap2 sangat bulan puasa ni, i can lose some kilos....dah plan dah, nasi makan time buka pose ja...then sahur is cereal...with a lot of water intake in between to make sure milk production will not be affected...fuh...banyak hokeh nak kena lose...then target nak gi brisk-walking around the neighbourhood starting next week....bole la tolak si nia tu kat dalam stroller...bring her along...just to burn some calories...nak workout macam zaman2 anak dara dulu, rasa nye takde stamina lagi kot...so kayuh slow-slow....at least turun 5kg pon dah happy kot...but kalo boleh nak turun 12-15kg...ahaha...so that weight jadi mcm time before kawen dulu...achewahhhh....no harm in having angan-angan right...:p...

this weekend, we're having some family time, just the 4 of us...part of our ritual...kalo dulu lepas habes pantang Nia, we went for a quick getaway kat Pullman Putrajaya...time tu Pullman baru je bukak...guests pon tak ramai... this time, we decided to go to town...so it's gonna be somewhere in Bukit Bintang...nanti I will snap lots of pictures hokehh....can't wait for the break... boleh lepak2 and bermalas-malasan...

ok la...will try to update more often from now on...cite delivery Aaryan pon tak sempat nak post...and I have a special entry nak tulis about my spa retreat recently...:p...till next time, take care lovelies...muwakss..

susu susu susu.... rasenye these past 3 weeks, i drink, sleep and even dream about milk...ahhaa... that's how obsessed i've been with milk... during my pregnancy last time kan i've been wanting to breastfeed Aaryan longer than Nia... Nia dulu tak tahan lama...lepas 2 weeks je da campo formula kot.... susu tak banyak that time then time tu plak buta ilmu skit...akakak.... so ended up i gave up and gave in to s26...ahahaha.... this time, Alhamdulillah, so far so good...mommy kena la sacrifice skit...this time pantang i still eat mcm biasa...takde diet ke ape (like what i did time nia dulu)...nasi maintain, lauk pon maintain....minum air bergelen-gelen...ahaha...tak campo with herbs drink and susu and horlicks and bagai macam la....so result?....

Introducing Baby A

Hello lovelies...

Lambat plak update... Been overwhelmed since the arrival of Baby A last Friday... Alhamdulillah, the surgery went smoothly well... Can't story much about the delivery right now cos I'm back in DSH with Baby A bcos of jaundice... Just nak introduce our Junior to all je dulu... And I will update the story morry in the following entries kay...

So meet the infamous Baby A... Which actually stands for: Ahmad Aaryan Faheem Bin Fahmi... Out into the world approximately around 9:05am on Friday, 10 June 2011 weighing 3.02kg with the length of 48cm... Mommy decided to call him Aaryan... Tp Babah nak panggil Ryan (glamer katanye akakaka).. Tak kisah la, asalkan both ada maknanya... I dun really mind... So whats in the name this time?..

Final Day Countdown

Dear Baby A,

Percaya tak percaya, we are almost there reaching our finishing line tomorrow... Macam-macam we went thru together... From Mommy's early evening sickness... Muntah everytime balik kerja dalam kereta Babah..ahahaah... To mommy's continuous constipation...ahahah... then came along the piles (erkkk....ya ampun - make sure next pregnancy tak kena lagi da benda alah ni....seksa!!).... then kite went thru a very high fever once - luckily we were not admitted - although babah dah jadi nurse ala2 nurse kat DSH jugak cos mommy da lembik to the bone... but Alhamdulillah, you are still growing strong in the belly... and I'm very thankful for that... tomorrow Insya Allah we will meet and greet each other for the first time and I have to say I'm quite nervous as much as you are too... so nervous that Mommy even had a nightmare malam tadi hokehh...eheheh...anyhow, on top of all the nervousness, I am very anxious and excited to see your chubby face... my prayers for the past 9 months tak pernah stop even once so that, baby mommy ni, sihat and sempurna, Insya Allah... so, lil guy, make sure you get enough rest today, cos tomorrow is going to be a big day for all of us... till I see you in the operation theatre esok, just remember, that i love you so very much!...

To my dearest Princess Daania...

Mommy is not sure how much of all these happening that you can actually understand...but one thing that I want you to be sure of is, regardless whatever it is, you are still very much the princess of my heart... i love you so much and i'm very proud of you that you are going thru this very bravely... and i am very sure that you will adore your baby brother in no time too...ehhehe... frankly, mommy da tak sabo da nak amik gambo Nia baring berdua with Baby A nanti...i'm sure you both will look very cute...i'm sorry that i won't be lying next to you when you wake up from your sleep for the next 2-3 days....but mommy will be back home very soon and you can also come over and visit mommy kat hospital nanti ok sayang....till i'm back home, make sure to behave yourself, dengar cakap wan and kakak imah hokeh...love you lots baby girl...

To my Husband...

Thank you for being next to me all through out this journey... thank you sebab jadi tukang urut blakang when i'm all over the toilet bowl... thanks sebab tolong basuhkan my puke afterwards...ekekekke....thanks for accompanying me to the countless visits to the hospitals and clinics without fail...thanks for being my nurse when i'm down under... thanks sebab jadi tukang paksa makan ubat...akakak....else, sure sihat lagi lambat kot...lol...thanks sebab tolong letak minyak angin and giving me a backrub during those wicked bad days...thanks for waking up and staying up next to me when i can't seems to fall asleep...thanks for sharing my fears and my worries and for reminding me of what is important...thanks for coming into the OT with me tomorrow and most of all, thank you for being the father of my children...i love you very much...

So finally, mommy is ready and will be all packed today to check-in to Hotel Hospital tomorrow morning... till my next post with details on Baby A's arrival, take care all and do pray for my safe delivery, Amin... :-)

A Question That I've Answered More Than 10 Times

So ok... I've finally reached to a point whereby I'm getting upset when people are asking me this particular question... "Kenapa nak bersalin Ceaserian? Go for normal delivery lah.." seriously people....I would've chosen vaginal birth if I can.... Not that I really want to have a ceaserian operation to be done on my tummy again... my experience from the first one dulu pon cukup la to let me know that the healing bit after the operation memang sangat seksa rasenye.... Kalo people yg buat VBAC, in 2 weeks time dah back to normal, for me last time, after 1 month I can still feel the pain from the operation.... so why on earth would I wanna choose the hard way of giving birth?.. haihhhh... the problem now is, i don't have a choice.... the position of Baby A is way too high up in my womb...if i were to go for a normal vaginal birth, it will be a very longggggg delivery which can lead to stress to both mommy and baby.... on top of that, the doctor will need to use either the forcep or vacuum to pull the baby out... now this is where the tricky bit comes in.... nak pakai forcep n vacuum memang boleh, tapi another problem is sebab the baby is too high in the womb, those two equipments are too short to reach the baby's head....so it will also lead to an emergency c-section operation.... on top of that, due to the long delivery, that can cause distress to the baby or it can lead to a stop of oxygen supply to the baby sebab mommy also in stress (and will cause brain damage to the baby) or worse still, there's also a possibility that we might lose the baby....now why on earth would i want to pose all these risks to my unborn child?... hmmm... ok la, i know la all of them are asking out of good intention, but seriously, do u think we would make a decision without consulting and getting the best opinions from the doctors?.... its a major abdominal surgery we're talking about here.... and FYI, ceaserian birth is considered to be one of the safest method to delivery a baby nowadays since you'll have all the specialists in the OT at the point of time...

On top of that, I've heard so many stories of other mothers who were also advised to opt for a ceaserian delivery but yet insisted to go on normal vaginal birth and ended up, having a baby yg mentally slow due to all the stress and cut of oxygen flow to the brain.... Nauzubillah.... selagi boleh avoid and minimize any potential risks to my child, I will do just anything, be it going under the knife again....

So please la people.... stop asking me and using that tone as though i'm making the biggest mistake of my life when I chose to have a ceaserian as what my doctor has advised.... Because this is our child, and we are doing this our way.... what we hope from you are your prayers, so that everything will goes on smoothly, Insya Allah...

Last Day!

Alhamdulillah... my second most waited day (most waited day harus la D-day next week kan :p) for this month da sampai...ehehe...today is my last day at work...last day masuk office....last day kena attend meeting...last day to dial in to telecon....last day to submit documents in GLL.... last day to send out any emails from office outlook....ekekek...then, its 3 months holiday ya'll... fuhh!!....tak saba tunggu 6pm...weeehooo!!!

for the past few months kerja menggunung bagai nak rak...there were a couple of times that i actually broke down and cried sebab tak tahan with the nightly telecons (dang!! cry baby...akaakk).... tapi the following day, buat jugak lagi...ahaha... that's how resilient we are...yer la, since hidup bergaji ni, terpaksa la kan... so now its my time to rest...amik cuti a couple of days earlier, nak siapkan any last minute items before Baby A pops out next Friday.... and actually I wanted to use these last few days, to have some TLC moments with Princess Nia yg manja tu ha...ekekek...just to give her some extra attention before that attention kena divert kat org baru nanti...ehhehe...

ok lar...back to work...last day to concentrate...tomorrow onwards bole joli katak before the night feeding duty calls...:P...have a good day lovelies!

Breast Pump

Alamak!! In our eagerness in preparing for the arrival of Baby A, kami terlupe nak test out my old breast-pump... So 3 days ago, Hubby brought out the box and test it out... and to our horror, pump tu tak bergerak at all... not a single sound...not a single movement from it, tuko bateri tak jalan, plug in kat power plug pon sama - still tak jalan jugak.... aiyak...before this, I loaned the pump to my sister-in-law since she was breastfeeding and didn't have any pump of her own... memandangkan pump yg ade kat rumah ni tak pakai, kasi je la pinjam daripada duk lam cupboard - membazir plak... and everything was working perfectly fine - in fact she even tested before returning it back to us, and the pump was still moving... suddenly 1 week before the baby's arrival, saja la pump ni nak buat perangai pulak kan...hishhh... so, this weekend nampak gaya terpaksa la kami menapak pi kat service centre dia... have to check what is wrong with it... i hope it can still be fixed with a 'reasonable' price... else, kena pk alternative lain la pulak... :-(..

How Was Your Weekend?

Our weekend was packed!

Sabtu pagi, we went for my last check-up with the Gyne kat DSH. Alhamdulllah, Baby A is looking fine - Doc cakap baru 2.4kg - macam risau la pulak - a lil bit too small I think despite da masuk 36 weeks+ now... Kalau ikut the tracking kat BabyBump, he should be weighing 2.6kg by now... So Mommy will try to eat more ok lil guy... this week and next week hari-hari kite mintak Babah belikan Baskin Robbins - macam zaman2 Kakak Nia dulu...ekekek... anyways, Baby A is doing good in the tummy.... head down and still showing no sign to engage... amniotic fluid is ok...heartbeat is strong....so, everything is good to go... The Doctor asked us if we have decided on the date, so we told her our options, either on the 10th or the 11th... as expected, she agreed with 10th of June.... so, terus la book OT and gave me the green admission form sume... nak book bilik terus tak boleh - we can only do that 1 day before the operation - so kena call hospital... But hubby said, takyah la susah-susah, so we opted for the Premium Room... kena la topup sikit from the amount that Shell normally covers... asal selesa lepas operation nanti... so peeps, the official date is - Friday, 10 June 2011... Fuh!!

afterwards, off we went to KLCC.... kan semangat nak pergi carnival Mothercare tu...eheh... dengan boyot-boyot ni, masih jugak gigih pergi hokeh... the store was not as big as i imagined it would be...but ok la, it has more items than other Mothercare shops... there were clowns, wheels of fortune draw lots, face-painting, free popcorns and free cotton candy... Ingatkan pack giler, but lucky for us, we were there quite early, so that 'traffic' inside the store wasn't as bad... bought a couple of things, feeding bottles for Nia and Baby A...found my Lansinoh nipple cream, bought gifts for Vikrant's new baby too... and a few new tshirts for Kakak Nia...and Baby A's first blue bear...hehe...

At the store, Nia did her face-painting...one on her right cheek and another one on her arm....suka la makcik tu...ade glitter glitter and diamonds being sticked all over her...then we went to the next counter, where she got a pink beads wristlet made for her - jadi free sebab Babah dah purchase macam2 item kat Mothercare... so, after that, mula la dia berangan jadi Princess...*sigh*...ehehhe....afterwards, we went for lunch at Chilis... Nia was so tired, sampai tertido kat table tengah makan...kesian betol la munchkin ni....after lunch, we did some window shopping since baby girl dah pengsan ni - take the opportunity to go around kejap :p...pas ni nak dating susah da...nak plak kena perintah berkurung 45 days nanti...fuh!....then , we decided to leave KLCC.... drop-by at Masjid Negara for prayers....siap tunggu sampai Asar...then we went to Lake Garden...ahahah... semangat gilak I tell u....Babah nye la...cos he promised to the lil missy that he'll take her to the playground...alang2 da memang kat area tu, he decided to drop by terus kat Lake Garden....so biar la let loose some steam at the playground for 1hr+...

Then on Sunday morning, we went to the Curve.... saje gatai bawak Nia pi tengok KungFu Panda 2... ternganga je la Nia inside the cinema.... there were no songs unlike the typical Princess-sy movies that she loves so much.... so ended up, dia keep on asking me, kenapa tu...kenapa tu...kenapa tu...eheheheh...hadoii...cian anak mommy...couldn't understand the movie so much....but she had fun - bole la gelak-gelak at some of the actions yg funny.... after the movie, we asked her, if she wants to watch Panda again.... then she answered, "But I want to watch Princess!!"....haihhh...princess lagi....kena ajar suke benda lain apart from Princess la mcm gini....

I've been having trouble sleeping for the past 2 months... I noticed that I have to sleep in earlier than the usual timing, cos by midnite, I'll be wide awake and susah sangat for me to get back to ZzzZZz-land afterwards... reason being bukan ape.... one if because of the ever-bulging tummy... so yes, its getting bigger and bigger... so, it has been very difficult for me to get into a comfortable position to sleep... then, we have the toilet trips... for instance, last night je la....I think i had to use the loo for a total of 5 times...then the 6th time, bgn solat subuh....by then, memang rasa sangat exhausted cos of sleep deprived.... dah la nak bangun with a pot-belly is ain't no joke ok... asal nak duduk je, I had to use the baby cot handrail yg ade next to me...then I can pull myself up... kalau tersalah angle, my calf for sure akan cramping - cos of muscle pull.... dah la nak kencing tak tertahan, cramping la plak...aiyoooo... so yes, I am really really looking forward to delivery... bukan la nak complaint... actually i'm taking this is a practice run....yer la, after this pon memang sleepless nights jugak... with Baby A around... but sometimes, u just miss the times when u can just sleep uninterrupted... nak plak tgk sebelah, Nia and Babah nye syiokkkk je tido...haihh... saba je la...

Making things worse...now kalau takleh nak tido at night tu...mula la otak ni duk pk macam-macam.... one of the things that is constantly messing me up is, i have this guilty conscience about Nia having to be a Kakak at such a young age....adoii...tak tahu la kenapa...i keep on feeling guilty that she won't be getting our attention 100% dah lepas ni...yer la, with Baby A around, she'll have to share us la... selalu rasa kesian to Nia... and now i noticed that i tend to give in with her more... which is no good jugak in the long run... *sigh*...i wonder if other parents feel the same way too... sometimes when she sleeps, she looks very much like a baby still...yer la, baru 2.5yrs young kan...takut jugak in case Nia tak puas lagi nak bermanja...mm...i really hope that she can adapt and accept her baby brother nanti...tu lah nye...some of the mommy's concerns... ini tak campo risau about the delivery, about managing 2 kids and a husband, about my work which requires me to have nightly telecons with 2 kids, about the pain after delivery, about my ability to fully breastfeed... huwaaa.... ingatkan benda-benda ni risau time nak bersalin for the first time je... rupanya, its the same cycle again...geeezzz...get a grip....okla, whatever it is, i've taken a few days leave prior to my delivery date...harap-harap that few days can actually put me into perspectives and calm me down... mommy needs to be mentally and physically prepared to go through this... Insya Allah...

Somehow lately ni, banyak sangat news about children passing away...this is just so sad and tragic... memang lah dikatakan takdir.... but seriously, i don't get it how can we forget our child and left them for a solid 1 hour locked inside the car under the scorching sun!!...Masya Allah... not that I would want to judge the father... I'm sure it was not on purpose ke ape... so negligence aside....i just truly hope that this kind of things will not happen dah lepas ni.... Parents should be more vigilant and alert... tak kisah la time tu tengah kelam kabut ke...tengah stress ke ape ke...but our children should always be protected, no matter what... okla....mek taknak emo lebih-lebih...to know further why i'm being so dramatic, sila la click kat link bawah ni....

bersempena with the public holiday yesterday, we decided to do something a lil bit fun for Nia...yer la...lepas ni once Mommy dah start pantang, Nia pon kena pantang skali la with Mommy at home... takleh lar nak jalan-jalan on every weekend for 45 days.... since, Babah dia pon dah promised to her that he will take her swimming, we decided to go to Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan Shah Alam.... we've been hearing good reviews about the place.... my nieces and nephews are all regular patrons to this public pool... they've been taking swimming classes on every weekend and have been going since they are 3-4 years old... all the while, asal depa ajak, tak pernah plak teringin nak pi... so this time, I told Fahmi, let's try it out... tak cuba tak tahu... i'm not a big fan of huge crowds, so Sunway Lagoon is totally out of the picture... so it was either this place or pool at The Club, Bukit Utama... tapi itu we'll have to pay more la, since both of us are non-members... makanya, googled for some public reviews of the place and so far out of 5 blogs, all 5 have given the place a thumb's up... so, yesterday, off we went to Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan - awal gila hokehh...kol 8.45am dah terpacak kat ticketing kaunter...ahahah....talk about being kiasu!!...

Nia pon excited - despite kena kejut from her sleep, she's in good spirit and tak cranky at all... teruja nak swimming lar tu...nampak pool je da terjerit-jerit..hishhh...anyways, bought our ticket priced at MYR2.50/each for adults....children under 3yrs old is free of charge....at 9am sharp, the guards allow us to go in...my my my...that place is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEe i tell u...the pool besakkkk gilakkk.... at first ingat nak amik entrance to indoor pool...skali abang ticket tu ckp, the shallowest corner for indoor would be 10ft deep...terus tak jadi...mek beli ticket outdoor ja la....i think the depth was around 4ft....ok la....the kiddie pool pon besar pon sadly it was closed for maintenance... else, it would've been more fun - cos siap ade slide bagai macam.... but after awhile, i realized the sun seems to be right smack on top of the kiddies pool....and it was pretty cool around the adult pool...so tak kisah la... Nia pon ade her arms float... i believe she enjoyed the outing very much.... she swam for a solid 2 hours...naik atas for 15mins recharge energy makan nasi lemak and drank a box of lychee drink... i didn't go into the water.... if i did i would've been like a penguin with this huge tummy....so Nia had all the fun with her Babah.... takpela... kasi bonding time daddy-doter skit...eheheh.....

so our review?...will we come back here?... i think we will...maybe not anytime soon - since i'm almost due... so Nia kena tunggu lepas mommy abes pantang la...then we can come here for a dip again....not bad for a public pool....although i do wish they can provide more seats around the area cos I saw many parents had to end up sitting on the floor sebab tak cukup kerusi...lucky for us we were quite early, so we get to hog 4 seats and a table...ehehhe...

Hello Baby A!

Baby A at 34 weeks - ni last Saturday (14 May 2011) punye check up....again try nak buat the 4D scan, but we still couldn't get a clear picture like what we got for Nia dulu....placenta masih nak jugak cover Baby A's face...I think out of all the images that we got, yg ni la kot yg paling clear....he looks a lot chubbier now...pipi da tembam...currently at 34 weeks, he's weighing 2.3kg-2.4kg....Alhamdulillah sihat baby Mommy ni....if you ask any pregnant mom pon, itu la doa siang malam, so that baby lahir nanti sihat dan sempurna....Insya Allah...

anyways, just an update during our last pre-natal check....Doctor dah confirm that 80% i might have to go under the knife again...reason being is, baby is getting bigger (by the time due estimated dah 3kg+ - similar like Nia before)....and the problem with me is, my pelvic bone is small...so the baby takleh nak engage....so, the likelihood for another c-section is there....so she said, go ahead and start thinking of a preferred date... anytime in mid June...takyah tunggu 40 weeks (kalo tak my actual EDD is actually 25 June = 40 weeks)....so now 37-38 weeks pon doctor da cakap we're good to go...cos the baby is getting bigger...but papehal, the final confirmation will be during our next check up in 2 weeks time...time tu dah 36 weeks...so, kalo baby shows no sign of heading south, makanya, mekk harus la pergi ke DSH and menyerah diri kat OT....hmmm...hilang ler angan2 bagai macam nak masuk labour room la ape la....oo well....tak kisah la, as long as the delivery is safe for both myself and Baby A - it doesnt really matter how we do it...ikut pintu ka ikut tingkap ka..kekeke....

So pick a date hurmm....ehehhe...i'm thinking of 11-06-11...cantek gak tu ek...but it falls on a Saturday - not too sure if Dr Susanna would wanna have a surgery on her busiest day of the week....kena check with her la...else, i think we'll opt for either 06-06-11....or 10-06-11...let's see how it goes...

33 Weeks, 5 Days and 38c

I'm having high fever for the past 2 nights.... Funny thing is, it only happens at night... Last night it got so bad, that I was shivering despite having the blanket on... So I checked using our thermometre, baru perasan, that I've hit 38c - no wonder da start mengigil.... Turun bawah, telan Panadol, and tried to sleep....susah plak nak lelap cos tak dapat position best with the huge tummy.... pusing punye pusing, in the end tido jugak.... Woke up for Subuh prayers, felt slightly better.... temp has gone down to 37.6c.... Alhamdulillah... Kepala pon tak whoozy as much.... Decided to still come to the office, cos banyak giler meeting arini, and I have so many things to settle.... Then tetiba pagi ni tengah telecon ngen big boss from US, start rasa body temp naik balik....muka da panas...mata pon sama...kepala pon start pusing...aiyoyo.... after telecon finished at 11am tadi, sms Fahmi and told him I need to go to the clinic....so, tunggu je la dia mai amik and bawak pi clinic - I still wish that we can have an internal clinic in the office like we used to...I'm guessing, its viral in combination with the super humid weather.... papehal, takut jugak demam-demam during 3rd trimester ni... risaukan Baby A la.... so, gi je la amik ubat.... Sabtu ni check-up with Dr Susanna...yeayy!!...can't wait to see Baby A in the monitor again....

Just sharing what I got from my sayang-sayang for Mother's Day.... I'm pretty sure the money came from Babah..... But the delivery of the gift was done by Nia... hehehe...she came over with the box and gave it to me after I finished my Maghrib prayers.... mommy siap dalam telekung lagi kot...ahahah.... she said, " Mommy....besday to you"....aahaha....I guess dia da lupa ape Babah dia da pesan what to say....anything wrapped or comes with a ribbon equals to a birthday gift for her...anyways, mommy is really touched with the box of golden Patchi.... and I love both of you very very very much too!!!...muwaksssssss.... Thank you darlings....

Backpain Hits Again!

Ouch!!! Backpain is my second name .... woke up this morning, to a terrible ache behind my neck, between my shoulder blades and above my waistline... i think this is partly due to 'exercise' that i was forced to do yesterday morning at Lake Garden... in conjunction to mother's day, we decided to take have a family outdoor portraiture photoshoot here with DFChannel Photography ....it was a pretty good and cheap deal that I got from MilkADeal... for a 45mins shoot, unlimited shots and everything will be given back to us, posted via PosLaju with a CD and a 8R shot that has been edited.... at first rasa 45mins macam kejap....but yesterday, macam berperang rasenye...hhahaha....

My princess was grumpy all though out the shoot....masa dalam kete, she was ok lagi...all happy and chirpy...when we got to Lake Garden, (first time hokehhh sampai sini), parked our car, took out all our props, that jeng jeng jeng .....there it was....a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee elaborate playground that is fullllllllll with kids screaming and shouting!!!!....arghhhhh..... Little Missy pon ape lagi....terus la menjerit ckp..."I wanna go play at the playground!!!"....when Mommy said, we'll go after the shoot, terus muka masam mencuka and her eyes are still glued there - tak berpaling tgk ke lain...huwaaaaaaaaa....macam-macam la anak daraku...makanya, mommy and babah had to do all kind of tricks just to try to make her smile....out of the hundreds of shots, ade la 2-3 je kot yg dia tersengih....hmmm....semek oh semek....so bangun pagi tadi, kruukkk krakkkk kruukkk krakkkk laaa tulang blakang mak buyong 8 bulan ni ha....hmmm....can't wait to hit the home run soon!....

Sedihnye rasa when I read the paper recently...3 small young girls, were swept away by the current whilst they were picnicing at one of the picnic spots in Kuala Pilah....they were so young...baru umur 5 yrs, 4 yrs and 2 yrs old...and yg bongsu plak is still missing, masih tak jumpe jenazah arwah...kite yg stranger baca news ni pon rasa sangat sedih tak terkata...i don't even want to think how the mother is feeling right now....Astaghfirullah.... sesungguhnya, anak-anak itu kurniaan yg paling berharga from God...I pray that none of us will ever have to go thru the pain of losing a child....biarkan sorang, apatah lagi 3 org sekaligus... Insya Allah, arwah bertiga selamat di tempat yg lebih bahagia, and become bidadari-bidadari syurga yg sempurna....Al-Fatihah for adik-adik kita ini... and hopefully the parents of the children are strong to go thru dugaan yg maha besar for anyone to go thru...

mannnnn....am I glad that the week is finally over!! it has been a painful week for me...can't wait for some R&R this weekend....lower backpain is my bestfriend now....tak termasuk the pain between my shoulder blades or the piles that thankfully have started to shrink....i am seriously in need of a back rub...google spa bukan main lagi...but can't find any which is really pregnancy-friendly...thinking of going to jentayu....but they don't have a specific menu for pre-natal massage....found one at khareyena spa...thinking of this one too....tatau la can still place my booking ke dak...kena mintak permisi from encik suami dulu...but a backrub sounds so darn tempting... ok la....have a good weekend everyone...i hope i will!! :-)

Piles!

it's confirmed...dengan tak malu nye, nak mengaku, I'm having piles right now....sakit nye Tuhan je la yg tahu....everything started disebabkan my constipation yg tak abes-abes...I should've quickly went to the doctor to ask for some laxatives to soften the stool....but i thought it wouldn't be so bad - cos previous pregnancy pon kena jugak constipation ni...but i guess this time lagi teruk...it took a turn for the worse 2 days ago, when I started seeing blood in the toilet bowl when i passed my motion...*gulp*...dah takut da..then my bum da sakit to the max this time....but it got slightly better at night - so i guess this time piles tak menjadi lagi....most likely it was only rectal bleeding kot....then somehow yesterday morning, i had this super urge to go to the toilet again....ingatkan mcm nak tahan since bum pon still pedih, but this urge mcm takleh nak tahan....kena jugak pergi....so off i went, and the 10mins i was inside the bathroom was the hardest I've ever had....siap shivering, sweating sume cukup lengkap la...ala-ala mcm dah nak bersalin plak....the pain, needless to say, was excruciating!! somehow, i still have the energy to go to the office - in pain....spent the whole day rasa sakit - tak sedo lagi ade piles ni....pelik jugak awat laa pedih tak ilang-ilang....things got worse in the afternoon - i guess bcos if the hours i spent sitting at my desk - nak bangun sakit - so most of the time kat office, i spent it sitting down and not moving...balik office, terus gi clinic, doctor check and terus prescribed ubat...hmmm...malam tadi, the pain got worse...berdenyut+pedih+sengal+ngilu sume cukup lengkap....i couldn't go up from a sitting position without feeling the pain...and if i were to lie down, i had to do it on my side...i think Nia pon tahu that Mommy was in pain - cos she saw my tears, and came over to hold my hand, and lie down next to me...and then siap kiss cakap, ubat da abes ke mommy....ahahaha...

this morning bangun, the pain is still there, but at least it's tolerable....i'm walking so slowwwwwly i feel as though i've already given birth...akakakak...over tak over....this is one lesson learnt that will never be forgotten...morale of the story is....sila la makan sayo and fruits and hi-fiber food....and lots and lots of H2O!!!....fingers crossed that this will not have any re-lapse again for the next 50 days that i have left for this pregnancy...and for the next pregnancies that i might have, mintak simpang jauh2 la penyakit piles ni....*shiver*....

I'm suffering from a very chronic lower back pain campo sakit ya amat on my left shoulder blade...everyday, sure akan rasa ngilu and menyucuk2....i guess it's bcos of the long hours at the office duk tgk laptop....cos you're slouching and the back posture isn't so good....to top it off... i've been having constipation for the past 2 weeks...rasa mcm nak poo-poo....which i did, tapi mcm tak clear all my bowels....then yesterday, somehow i noticed there's a bloody show in the toilet bowl....mcm orang period hokehh...huwaaa....harus la ekzos sakit gilak....this second pregnancy ni....i've been having bloody stool for a couple of times already...but it hasn't been as bad as this one... ade piles ke ni?..huwaaa...takutttt.....so far today, tak berani nak berak ke ape...kemut ja laa...eheheh...else, kena gi jumpe gyne mintak ubat lar...:-'(...

We've Moved!!!

ehehehe...not us literally....it's our office...All of the Support Services Department are merging in one office centre from many places that we used to have....the move has been planned progressively and this week it was my turn.....so all packed and ready to go on last Friday...semalam (Monday) - was my first day in the new building....it's freakingly hugeeeeeeeeeeeee i tell you!!!....i was lost in the maze of rooms and curves and God knows what else...sampai nak cari surau pon pening...by the time i found the surau, my legs are feeling more than crampy already...grrrr...i don't have any pictures of the new place....nanti will snap some....so after this, it'll be easier for me and hubby since both of us are gonna be based in the same building - thank God we're not on the same floor...ahahaha...kalo tak mmg pagi petang siang malam ler mekkkk tengok muka dia kan...akakkaak....he's team is only moving next week...so i was telling him, get ready to get lost in the office...akakaakak....he still doesn't believe me when i said the place is super huge and it's so easy to get sesat with the so many doors around...okla till then, happy working peeps!!

At 30 Weeks & 6 Days

Yesterday, me and Fahmi menakung almost half of the day kat DSH.. I had my pre-natal check-up and he had his regular check-up with Dr Tamil...Lama tak tengok scan baby, excited laa Mommy smalam nak jumpe Dr Susanna... sampai kat DSH as early as 8.45am....time tu clinic doctor pon baru je bukak....nurse baru sampai....doctor masuk normally dlm kul 9am+...cos she has to go for ward nye rounding dulu pagi2 tu....we were number 6 in the queue....not so bad....gi makan breakfast dulu, pusing2 teman Fahmi gi buat blood test dia....then came back and sit at the clinic...by then the numbers dah start moving....sampai turn kami, terus melompat masuk bile dengo nurse tu panggil, "Engku!"....kehkehkeh....

Out of courtesy and curiosity, tanye la Dr Susanna, where she went on her 2 weeks hiatus....perghhh...rupanya jauh dia pi holiday-ing...best gilaksss.....dia gi Venice u olsssss....naik gondola ngen husband nye - talk about romantic holiday ok...ekeeke....she asked us if we've been there....sadly no....definitely in our list to visit Venice one day....kami takat sampai ka Paris ja la time "honeymoon cum kerja" dulu....takpe, insya allah, murah rezeki, boleh bawak anak2 pi holiday oversea jugak one fine day...ehehe...anyways, lepas da chit chat, terus prepare naik atas the examination table nak scan baby...reminded the doctor that we want to do the 4D scan this time....doctor cakap, ok boleh, since dah masuk 30 weeks...baby is big enough...yeayyy!!! - teruja lagi....

so, scan scan scan....doctor ukur paha, perut...kepala baby sume...Alhamdulillah, corresponding with the number of weeks....perut ja kecik skit - 29 weeks nye size...kepala dah 31 weeks...camno tu...otak bergeliga ni... eheheh....then check volume for my amniotic fluid - everything looks ok...Alhamdulillah...then dalam duk pusing pusing, nampak baby nye 2 scrotums and penis!!!...ahaha...a little tiny dot on the screen - cuteness! Babah dah mula sengih berseringaiiii da....tgk bebola anak dia...akakak....ape daaa...then, we tried to do the 4D scan....pusing situ, pusing sini, takmo gak nampak...we can see the face but only partially cos kena block dek placenta...caitss....doctor tolak perut skit....baby da gerak2, but the placenta is still placed right smack in the middle...mmg nampak separuh je muka...haihhh...camery shy la plak anak teruna ni....dah dekat 15 mins still takleh, doctor pon ckp...sorry la dear, we try again during your next visit ok...huwaaaaaaaaaa....tskkk....sabau je la...takpela - yg penting Baby A is healthy and well....he's already weighing 1.5kg....hmm...not so bad...doctor ckp still small...ya ka...kalo buat rough calculation with the assumption of 200gm of weight gain/week for the next few months...anak mommy ni, akan weigh around 3.4kilo jugak nanti....sama ngan Nia dulu la...ngeee ngeee ngee....bole tak mommy nak go for vaginal delivery....awai2 dulu doctor da warning, kalo nak beranak normal baby kena 2kg+ jaa, since my pelvic bone is small...aiyakk....silap-silap, kite kena bukak tingkap again la Dik oii...ehheeh..let's see how it goes...next check is in 3 weeks time...till then....adios Baby A! 68 Days To Go

Last weekend, we went on a mission - untuk siapkan all the necessary stuff for Baby A. On Saturday, mcm pergi shopping spree rasenye - best best. Gi cari all the pending items yang still tak beli. So, today, after updating the checklist, rasenye, dah more or less complete la barang-barang for Baby A. Baju-baju Nia yg lama dulu pon dah bawak turun and sorted out. Yg 0-3 months yg kaler white sume separated from the pinkies. So, after this operation nak membasuh la pulak. But this can be done next month la. Buat now mcm over awal la pulak kan. Baru 30 weeks kot. Hehehe. Bantal kekabu baru pon da settle. Sarung bantal pon Wan da siap tolong jahitkan last Saturday. Tinggal nak beli material untuk buat kain bedung je. I'm one of the old-school people. I prefer to use 100% cotton material untuk bedung baby. Although there are so many cute swaddling blankets in the market now - somehow rasa mcm panas je material tu, cos they are using flannel blanket punye kain kan. So, this is the last pending item to buy for Baby A. And time Nia dulu pon, kena bedung sampai umor dah 6-7 bulan kot. Haha. At night la. Somehow she likes it very much. Tak tahu la adik ni macam mana nanti - suke ke idok kena bedung nye.

For next month, kena concentrate for Mommy's preparation plak. First nak kena pi cari jamu, pati gamat & tablet ikan haruan - bengkung dah ade from time Nia dulu - cuma nak kena pi basuh ja la. Then its nursing preparation, washable breast pads, and I think another 2/3 nursing bras. And of course, nipple cream ngan pad. Slalu terlupa nak beli pad ni. hishhh. ye la, dah 9 months kot takyah nak pk nak kena beli pad ke ape. For nipple cream anyone knows any specific brand yang effective? Last masa Nia dulu, I was using cap Mothercare punye yg safe for the baby. But somehow rasa mcm not so effective - sangat sore rasenye. So ingat nak try a different brand. Kena keep on surveying the best remedy for sore nipples ni - in preparation for breastfeeding nanti. Mengingatkan time dulu, ini la yg buatkan eden ngilu bebeno. Hehe.

Next checkup is this week - tak sabo nak tgk Baby A. Dah sebulan setengah tak pi jumpe gyne ni. Lama beno rasenye. Let's see what the doctor says - kot lepas ni dah kena start increase visit to every biweekly ke ape ke. Hehe. Can't wait to hit the home run!! 68 more days to go. Tick tock tick tock.

Padi tadi kami laki bini lambat sampai ke opis....the traffic was horrible....kluar-kluar je dari toll Kota Damansara, terus jam...i knew that the traffic was pretty bad, cos nampak status update from my sister on FB....but ingatkan by the time kitorg kluar rumah, which is consider lambat la jugak - kol 9am baru gerak kot.....ingatkan the traffic dah clear up a little bit....berangan je la....was wondering jugak ape da jadi sampai crawl teruk sangat ni...so, husband said, why not check on twitter, and see if there's any update...NKVE kan ade that twitter account for any traffic update....so, me as the co-driver kat sebelah ni pon, cepat2 la masuk twitter....terus nampak byk betol tweet about people being late to work, due to the massive crawl on NKVE disebabkan an overturned trailer which also terbako!!!...rentungs!!!.....i hope the driver and his kelindan is safe!!....cos looking at the condition of the trailer tu, macam agak teruk jugak la....picture below was captured by me...sorry ye tangan bergegar... amateur lar katakan...ehehheeh.....ended up, we reached Cyberjaya at 10am....yesss...macam Boss!...:p.... anyhow, Happy Thursday!

I was watching a new show on Star World smalam...my mom has been telling me about this new reality episodes for a couple of days but I just didn't have the chance to sit down and watch....kebetulan malam tadi, while Babah was doing his regular weekend baby duties - putting Nia to sleep - Mommy gets the chance to watch all the TV re-runs...flipping thru the channel, tetiba perasan this new title popping up - DC Cupcakes!

ok la, lets give it a try and bukak tengok...my oh my....tengok show ni dan-dan buat rasa sangat semangat for me to bake and makan cuppies ok....their cakes are sooooooooooo superbly cute and looks sooooooo yummilicious....*saliva dripping*....macam sangat best tengok derang twirling the cream and cutting out little fondant figuries and putting them on top of the cuppies....terus la rasa mcm, how i wish i have the talent to bake like Katherine & Sophie....phewww...ok la...for those yang tak tahu lagi about what I'm talking about, please, feel free to check out their website - Georgetown Cupcake...(sadly kite takleh laaa nak order all the way frm MY ni kan)...ekekek....till then, happy drooling too!

Alhamdulillah...Hari ni, dah officially masuk 3rd trimester equivalent to 28 weeks...ehehe.....so lagi 12 weeks to go, Insya Allah, boleh la jumpe Baby A...can't wait anymore....excited!..ehehe....we've started with our shopping spree....nothing much...beli toiletteries, 3 pasang baju, new pair of mittens and bootees and changing mat baru....i've also started sorting out baju-baju lama Nia and Fawwaz yang Baby A can still use....dapat la kurang kan skit belanja nanti...ehhehe....next, we still need to look for cadar, and some other stuff...one of the weekend nanti, rasenye nak ajak Babah gi Mont Kiara to Avent Service Centre, nak cari new parts for my old breastpump....kali ni azam dah tanam awal2....harap2 boleh la breastfeed baby A dengan secara exclusive...Insya Allah....so yeah, we're rearing to go!

It's been awhile since we last saw you in the doctor's monitor...I've started to miss you....but then again, you are indeed getting stronger day by day...hari-hari sepak tulang rusuk kiri mommy sampai rasa senak....everytime mommy wince sebab sakit, kakak Nia will think that I'm making funny faces at her...and she will laugh...ahahah....We can't wait to meet you, and I bet Kakak Nia is the one yang akan keterujaan melampau...she's already practicing how to take care of small babies like you using her dollies and teddy bears at home....anyways, we will see you in 2 weeks time at the Gyne's office...this time, mommy harap we can do the 4D scan...and yes, i'll make sure Kakak Nia is also around, so she gets to see her baby Brother as well...till then, keep on practicing those striker kicks....and behave well ye...muwahs!

Dalam duk pregnant-pregnant ni, one of the things that I enjoyed the most would be the food. Selera time boyot ngan dulu ni lain skit...nowadays, sume benda tgk nampak mcm appetizing sangat-sangat...munching away macam tak hengat dunia..... tapi kalo time nak pi monthly check at the Gyne, mula la guilty conscience starts creeping in.... all the what ifs mula la kluar...takut kena marah ngen doctor...takut doctor suh puasa nasi....ye la...i'm 200% malay....i'm one of those people who cannot go without rice even for a day....kalo doctor suh puasa nasi, pengsan den...ehhehe....

my next checkup will be delayed next month....cos Dr Susanna is on annual leave for 2 weeks....so by the time nak pi check nanti, i will already be in the 3rd/4th week of my 7th month....so harap-harap, by then we can see the baby clearly during our 4D scan....anyhow, just to be sure that I am still on track - sebab this month i've gained 2kg sekaligus, saje la tangan gatal check the weight tracker at BabyCentre...below is the result....fuhh....Alhamdulillah....still dalam Normal BMI....despite reaching 60kgs...ekekke.....3 months to go...tak tahu la final weight nanti brapa...yg pasti, I plan not to diet so much during pantang this time....so that not to affect my breastmilk production...cos masa Nia dulu, rasenye susu sikit cos i had to little rice kot....so kali ni, nak makan like the usual....hopefully can still lose the kilos la....

eikkk!!!....i missed the mark.....ingatkan aritu nak screencapture the shot starting frm the 100-days countdown....but i missed that due to busy-ness again!!!duhhhh....anyhow....just to make sure that you know what i'm talking about, hehehe....it's actually the countdown for Baby A's arrival....due to my ignorance, yg terlupa nak amik gambo 100-days countdown tu, now I'm already at 96-days...so, another 1 week left, and I'll be crossing over to trimester 3....weeee....teruja-ness....tak saba nak jumpe Baby A....eheheh....preparation wise, takde buat anything yet.....we plan to start doing this from April onwards....so far, pregnancy has been splendid...I've gained weight and membesar bagai juara seperti biasa...today i weighed myself at the office gym, and with 'happiness' i would like to announce that I have crossed the 6-0 kg mark...argghhh...ingatkan nak simpan 60kg tu bile da masuk 7 mths...ni still dlm 6 mths+ dah masuk 60kg....grrrr.....well, i've expected this pon....knowing well from previous experience, that I gained a total whoooppping 20kg lasttime...hmmm..pasrah je la ye...tak kisah la, asalkan Baby A comes out, healthy, sihat, sempurna in every way, Insya Allah...

The dateline is closing in.....ape lagi, cepat-cepat la login to e-filing before the traffic starts building up.....this year, is the first time i did e-filing on my own without help from Ida...eheheh...all the while, she has been my personal accountant....tolong submitkan and key in efiling details for me....sesungguhnye, i hate doing efiling....so mmg la tak gheti nak buat....but this year, fahmi has to submit his tax payments as well....so nak taknak, terpaksa la buat sendiri....spent the whole of today's morning on the phone with the customer service of LHDN...thankfully, they were very efficient, unlike the typical government agencies....

so Alhamdulillah, both of us dah selesai with our efling responsibilities....with the government owing us money...yahooo!!!...so nak ditunggu lagi...what about you? have you taken care of you efiling details?

Yesterday Nia officially turns 2 years old...sekejap je rasanye....it still feels like it was yesterday that I went into the OT room to go into labour...rupanya, dah masuk 2 tahun dah anak dara mommy ni....both mommy and babah took leave yesterday to take Nia out for the day....as promised, we went to Zoo Negara....I think the last time I was here was like 7-8 years ago....time tu pon sebab ikut the whole big family pergi jalan2 kat situ....this time around, there weren't so many people at the zoo....i guess its because it was a working day....so most of the visitors are all kindy children and the occasional families here and there....my take of the zoo? pretty much dissappointing.....stinky, not well maintained and a lot of room for improvements....we compared to our last visit to Singapore Zoo, and that was just marvellous...it was comfortable...the animals looked healthy, takde bau-bauan yg kurang menarik and so on....so I really hope that the government canset aside some funds for our own zoo to buck up and do some serious maintenance groundwork....else, it would be a shame to see all those animals suffering macam tu....haihhh..

anyways, back to the story....mommy's munchkin had a lot of fun....she was all up and sunny pretty early in the morning....when Wan asked her where she's going, dia cakap..."Nia nak gi Joo"...eheeh...clever girl....she recognized most of the animals and had fun walking and running on her own around the place...i guess to her, it doesn't really matter....as long as the can see the animals, its all fun fun fun.....afterwards, we went for a lunch celebration...off we went to 1Utama nak makan at Chilis....There, Nia get the chance to blow her birthday candle again, as we asked the waiter, to serve our ice cream brownie with a candle on top....the patrons were very nice and everone joined in when we sang happy birthday to Nia (again)...eheheh...

There are pictures taken tapi tak sempat nak transfer from Babah nye camera lagi...so we'll do that next time....mommy really hope that you had fun baby girl and of course, happy 2nd birthday with all my hugs and kisses and love...mwahsss....i love you Nia - very very much!

1. Baby A sangat active in the tummy - everytime he kicks, sampai rasa nak terkencing pon ade.

2. Mommy can no longer lie down macam biasa - end up sesak nafas and cannot breathe - so its 100% sideways kalo tido nowadays.

3. Nia is getting oh so very cheeky - she have started to converse in English - so Mommy is very happy.

4. Baby A is getting bigger and heavier - sometimes end up Mommy had to solat sambil duduk je.

5. Mommy dah start kebas tangan/kaki like previous pregnancy - and the backache pon sudah start @_@

6. Nia dah pandai blow bubbles on her own and can count 1-2-3 till 10

7. Mommy can start thinking of stuff to buy for Baby A - Babah cakap maybe next month we can start going to the shops - yippie yay!

8. Nia dah pandai kenyit-kenyit mata, muncung mulut and say "I love you too Mommy" *melts*

9. Baby A is already 24 weeks old in the tummy - lagi 16 weeks - Mommy will finally get to see you - Insya Allah

Pernah tak rasa as though you're so tired to live up to everyone's expectation out of you? I have - many times before. And sometimes rasa sampai macam dah tak larat. I just need my own space. I don't want to hear to what you have to say. I don't want to hear to that countless advice regardless how useful or true it might be. Sometimes I feel like I have the right to learn things my own way. To make my own mistakes. To do things the way I think it should be - not the way you think it should be. Basically - I'm just fed up with people giving or sharing their unwanted opinions with me. Share lah nak share. If I don't use your unwanted advice, takyah la nak buat muka or anything. Boring hokeh. urgh!! Bad chi...please go away. I need my mojo back again today.

Nia's Dora-licious 2nd Birthday Party

Last weekend we organized Nia's Doralicious 2nd Birthday Party. Originally, we planned to have this party on a smaller scale compared to Nia's first birthday last year. Bukan ape, lesson learnt from last year, sebab ramai sangat guests, me and hubby couldn't manage to meet and speak to all of our guests. So kali ni we decided to keep on small, and cozy and invite only those yang memang rapat-rapat sahaja. So, we had a few people from the office, mostly my team members and hubby's team members. And we had our close friends. My siblings. Hubby's siblings were too far in Johor - so couldn't join us - kena la throw another party when we're back in Johor lepas ni. hahah. and a few of our next door neighbours.

This time, we decided to have this at our home - since its empty without any furnitures, so it'll be much easier to clean up afterwards. and lebey kurang ala2 house-warming la jugak. 2 in 1 punye party. hehe. we keep on short, 2 hours je, although ade yg stayed on sampai lepas maghrib but we're okay with that. And Alhamdulillah, everything went well, food pon tak byk membazir, sume habis - ni la yg penting skali. eheh.. ok lah, enough talks, enjoy the pictures...

Ada Jugak Downsidenye

And whoever said carpooling is easy?! Haihh.. Of course, there are a whole long list of benefits in carpooling...tapi susah jugak for working mommies like me...as some of you might know, after I was transferred to the office in Cyberjaya, we agreed to sell off both of our cars in order to get a bigger ride...lagipon, since both of us would be based in Cyberjaya, harusla we will be carpooling and we thought having a second car would be a waste because it won't be moving at all...(ye la, knowing me yg sangatla malas nak drive sendirik kalo dah ade org nak tolong drvekan back and forth to the office...campo nak save costs la...jauh hokehhhh KD-CBJ tu..)..anyways, this is before i was 100% onboarded in this new role and before my life started getting haywire with this global role...@_@...

to cut the long story short, after 8 months being in this job, both of us are starting to see one tiny problem that we keep on encountering almost every week because of our carpool decision....hubby works 9am-6pm everyday and he regularly has late telecons until 6.30pm or sometimes even to 7pm...and dia ni type yg takkan leave the office earlier to login from home, so we always ended up leaving the office pretty late and reached home even later....

as for me, my role is a lil bit more flexi but with a crazier working hours.....i'm allowed to come into the office later (not necessarily kol 9am dah kena terpacak kat sini)....but my nights would always be full with meeting and night telecon calls with my global counterparts...sometimes as early as after i reach home at 8pm dah kena login balik until 10pm...or like today...i will hv 2 back to back telecons...from 8pm sampai la pukul 11.30pm....and the next day i still hv to go back to work at 9am cos hubby needs to be at his office by that hour....fuhh..sebab tu la i ended up working +/- 14 hours a day for the past few weeks....

so at times like these....i really miss my old vios...huwaaa....kalo ade kenderaan sendiri, takyah la mak kerja like 1/2 dead like this....and at least i will hv a lil bit of work life balance...ni, balik umah, nak main ngen Nia pon tak sempat....*sigh*....the underside if working with a MNC...harap-harap rezeki kami dimurahkan la after this....so that we can afford to get a second car again....aminnn!

During my previous pregnancy, I never knew if I were having/feeling Braxton Hicks contractions. But today, I've been feeling a sharp shooting pain down under. At first ingatkan it might be Braxton Hicks. Tapi terpikir plak, takkan la I can feel Braxton Hicks as early as 6 months. Dari pagi duk rasa, it came once in awhile, on and off. Makin banyak time dlm Townhall session tadi. After Townhall, came back to my desk terus IM two other mommies, that I knew they had Braxton Hicks before. So verdict nye adalah, Braxton Hicks should feels like contraction (which I still dunno how, cos dulu Nia kluar ikut tingkap)... Basically its similar to period pain, rasa somewhere near your abdomen dekat ari-ari kat bawah tu....so, confirm whatever I'm feeling right now is not Braxton Hicks ler....

Googled for sharp shooting pain during pregnancy.....the result is, it could be due to the vaginal spasms aka round ligament pain:

"It just means that your muscles are stretching, and it is really hitting those nerve endings in that area, and it is perfectly normal. As your belly stretches and gets bigger, these pains should go away. However, it you notice any severe pains that are accompanied by bleeding of any time, it is time to call the Gyne."

So I guess its nothing to worry about. Baby A (no longer Baby X since we've finally decided on the name) is very much active today. Kicking and squirming most of the time. Lucky for me, he's not so big yet, so takde la rasa senak sangat perut. Guess in 1 month's time it'll be a different story. Next checkup would be in March - can't wait to see you again Baby A. This time, Mommy will try to bring along Kakak Nia so that she can join in the fun and see you in the screen.

Semalam, a friend shared a blog yg sangat menyentuh perasaan for any mommies yg baca....lucky when I got this, I was ready to go back home frm the office.....dah pukul 5.50pm kot that time....so baca la a few entries dia....terus emo, sok-sek sorg-sorg kat opis ni....lucky sume org lain da balik...ahahah....anyways, Al-Fatihah buat Alanna Qish, semoga arwah ditempahkan di kalangan bidadari syurga yg cantik menawan....and our prayers to the mommy and daddy, hopefully they will find peace and solace one fine day....for those yg interested to know further.....sila la layan.... Project Dora

We are planning to throw a Dora-licious birthday party since Nia is turning 2 soon. As usual, the one who is more excited is always the Mommy. Ha-Ha. Kalo tgk si Nia, I doubt it that she even understands what the hu-ha is all about. Tak kisah la, what I want is a memorable event for my girl before No.2 pops out soon.

So, Project Dora was established and the main Project Manager is Mommy with Babah becoming the right hand man. The plan kicked off from 2 weeks ago (ok...sgt poyo although party nye in March) and some rough idea of what we want for the party. Due to budget constraint, we can't afford untuk tempah every single little things for the party. So some of the items needs to be DIY by Mommy and Babah. We started off with the Invitation Card - ciplak from the idea we saw online and off we sent out the invite to our close friends and families. Then Mommy has always wanted all those cute little fancy cupcake toppers and TQ card that I saw at this website, so we asked for a quote, and it came back not within our range so, again, another DIY project. So, Alhamdulillah, we managed to complete our own set of cupcake toppers, TQ Cards, drinking water labels and food tags. Sume sendiri bikin - that's why we need a longer planning period. Kalo budget ade berkepuk, senang la, main order je. He He. Tapi bile dah siap sume, rasa puas hati jugak. Cos we did it ourselves. Malam-malam bile tang perut keras takleh nak tido tu, Mommy pon operation gunting and gam ler.

Next, we have the menu to think about. Our guest list is not too big - so Wan agreed to help and cook some food for the party. Ordered out most of them too from our regular places. Kuih traditional, birthday cake, tartlets, brownies, cupcakes, etc. So finger's crossed that everything will be ready in time on the event day nanti.

Apart from that, we have balloons to think aboout. Ye la - kata pon party budak-budak. What is a party without any balloons to play with right. Mommy saw some DIY helium balloons pack at the party shop. Tapi bile survey harga, with another kedai, we found that it's cheaper to just order it with them for the same count of balloons. So kiddos who are attending the party nanti, be prepared to swat and pull 50 helium balloons that we plan to let afloat kat ceiling rumah.

Goodie bags! Ni pon dah siap - as of last week. Haha. Ye la - first time nak organize party kat rumah Denai Alam ni. Kena la cepat-cepat. Nak plak rumah tu still empty. Takut tak sempat nak buat so tu yg poyo awal2 dah pack sume benda. So yes - we have completed 60 bags of goodies in preparation for anyone that will be coming.

Games during the party. At first Mommy plan ade la jugak nak main 1 game. Cos the party wouldn't last that long - 2 jam je. So nak main game byk2 tak sempat. Tapi bile tanye kat Babah, he said it might be a bit rushed. So we scraped out the idea to play any games. Main je la korang sama2 sendiri nanti. But we did print out some coloring sheets and activity pages that the kids can doodle with kalo boring-boring.

And lastly, outfit for the birthday girl. So far ini satu je lagi yg still pending. Harap-harap we can go to the malls and hunt for it this week. So far I have no idea nak pakaikan Nia macam mana. No dress for her - cos I am sure dia akan berpeluh2 masam cos ramai org. So, defintiely wearing jeans. We just need to look for a nice top for her. Any idea where we can get any cute little outfits?

So harap-harapnya, the party will go on smoothly. We are trying to manage the crowd - taknak ramai sgt - else tak sempat nak mingle with all the guests. And those that we invited this time pon hanya yg rapat-rapat je. Will update more after the real party day which is gonna be on Sat - 5th March nanti. Till then, it's gonna be a fiesta!

Musim Virus Tirus

adoiii....semalam would rate as one of the toughest day this whole month....nak kata year takleh la kan....baru awal tahun ni....as what i've been complaining about previously...these past 2 weeks kerja byk ya rabbi....masuk office still macam biasa: 9am-6pm....then rush back home from CBJ to KD....it will take us around 1 hour to go thru the traffic in NKVE, so earliest we can reach home is 7pm....dinner, mandi and solat maghrib...then by 8pm+ i would normally be logging in back again via VPN cos hari-hari for the past 2 weeks ade telecon at night...ya Allah...memang tak tahu nak cakap mcm mana....i don't even have time nak duduk atas sofa baca paper ke...tgk news ke...apatah lagi nak main ngen Nia...bole la layan dia kejap in between duk login sume tu....memang rasa penat to the max...

making things worse, smalam dah demam and flu...kepala berat...mata sume da panas....pergi office pon rasa mcm zombie....so after my last telecon malam tadi, immediately kluar cari clinic 24 hours...by the time sampai pon dah kol 10pm+....dapat ubat and dapat lecture sebakul from the doctor...."you are 5 months pregnant....pls...get some rest....don't work long hours for too much"...haihhh...how i wish la tuan doctor...sapa yg nak kerja sampai 14 hours a day for 2 weeks in a row...memang rasa nak pengsan...so in the end, the doctor said...."i don't care, i'm giving you a MC for friday and you'll have a 3 days weekend to rest...so please don't work tomorrow"... happy dapat mc....tp isnin nanti, meraung la tgk email kotnye...ahaha..nasib....yg pasti, i woke up this morning...i couldn't even feel my head...berdenyut and sengal je rase....dek hingus and kahak yg byk....so makan ubat and rasa high sampai la sekarang...hehehe..

so mari kawan-kawan....let's rest and give our body a break so that tak kena nervous breakdown mcm malam tadi lagi...gegegege

Nia & Minyak Rambut Cap Safi

I came home yesterday from work to listen to an earful of stories from my maid, my grandmother's maid (who is currently in KL temporarily staying with us) and also from my mom. It's the same stories being told over and over and I am just stunt speechless when I heard what happened yesterday morning at home.

Funny it was - my Little Miss - have now started becoming more and more mischevious.

Wan was not at home in the morning because she had religious class at the mosque. So in the morning, Nia is left at home with the 2 bibiks as well as my old grandmother. Yesterday morning, my grandmother, had the itch to have Bubur Asyura for tea. So the 2 maids were preparing the ingrediants and the many kinds of condiments under the supervision of my Tok who is also sitting with them kat dapo. At this point of time, my Little Missy, is in the bedroom downstairs, watching cartoon as what she normally does - and the maids will take turn to check in on her in the room. So all is still well - at this point of time.

30 mins afterwards, my grandmother's maid went into the room again and noticed that Little Miss is sitting down veryyy quietly on the carpet while looking down at something on her lap with her behind facing the door. So Bibik nye pon tanye la, "Nia buat ape tu?" - still thinking that nothing is amiss. This little girl, lepas dengar someone tegur dia, I guess she was shell-shocked, dengan muka terkejut, turned around and faced the Bibik, with white colored hair oil (my grandmother punya laaa ni) smudged full on her face and a another whole bunch of it on top of her hair. In front of her, she has a mirror and a pair of mini scissors ready to cut the changing liner of her Nyang Tok. Hadoi! Bibik punye la terkejut terus menjerit panggil my maid in the kitchen. Haha. Both couldn't help it but to laugh when they looked at Little Missy ni. This girl, I think dia mcm stunt, couldn't understand why these 2 adults are laughing at her just stared at them and after they finished laughing, she stood up with her hands on her hip and said, "Masya Allah". Dah Bibik-Bibiknye gelak for second round pulak. Hahaha.

In the end, Nia ended up having another bath in the morning and my maid had to shampoo her hair for 4 times just to get rid of the oil from her face and her hair. So when I reached home petang smalam, her head sangat la wangi - normally dah masam bau peluh. Kakaka. Macam-macam la Nia ni. One thing for sure, she wiped clean all of Nyang Tok's minyak rambut and made everyone laughed out loud yesterday.

Public Holiday

I felt yesterday as though it was Monday all over again. Despite the public holiday was just for one day, we did so many things on Tuesday. So when I have to go back to the office on Wednesday morning, tetiba rasa as though its Monday Blues all over again this week. Yikes!

So, before I forgot, Salam Maulidurrasul to everyone. I hope everyone had a nice deserving break - because after this our next PH will only be in May. Phew~ That's a realllly longggg way to go.

So what did we do on Tuesday?

Started our day pretty early. We have initiated Project Dora for Nia's 2nd birthday. So out we went to hunt for some items for the birthday. For lunch, we went to Puncak Alam (jauh yang amat hokehhhh) cos Fahmi's cousin just opened up a new Briyani restaurant there. So kami pon pergi la just to give some morale support and to send my MIL punye biscuits yg dia buat nak letak at the shop untuk jual. Food was good - despite the long drive there. After that boleh sambung pergi hypermarkets at Shah Alam plak - still in the mode untuk cari stuff for Project Dora. For dinner, we went all the way to Pavillion - I had a reunion with my ex-colleagues at HRV. Fun it was - most of the gang were there. It was time well spent with a great crowd with some really good food. By the time we reached home dah flat and ready for bed.

This is why I love holidays - and Malaysia seems to have a lot of these. PH rocks and I want more! *Wink*

Panic Attack

ok...mommy had a panic attack this morning....the story goes like this....

last night when I was lying down in bed putting Nia to sleep....suddenly it struck me that I didn't feel Baby X kicking at all during daytime as well as nightime....zero movement from him....so when husband came into the room...i told him that he was pretty calm and said maybe the baby is sleeping....then i told him...takkan la sleep the whole day....cos i really didn't feel any flutters at all from him that day....i admit that I've been super busy and very stressed this whole week....work is piling like crap and me feel oh so very tired nowadays....but duty calls and someone gotta do the job....but I would always noticed little kicks and flutters from Junior in the tummy....especially when i'm sitting down at the office...so ok la...sambung story....then i started to shake my tummy....like literary shaking it from left to right pakai tangan...kasi gempa bumi skit to the baby inside...ahaha....and yet...still no response....ok...hati tak sedap....worry kicks in....Fahmi and Nia helped me out too..by putting their ears on the tummy and saying hello to the baby...ahaha...zilch response jugak....

so bangun subuh pagi tadi....immediately told Fahmi....i wanna go DSH...to see Dr Susanna...our appointment is not due yet....it's actually scheduled for next Saturday....but I told him....better be panic than sorry....so off we went...lucky for us it's Friday...and Doc didn't have many patients....we were No.2 in the queue when we reached her clinic....9.45am, my name was called and off we went...told Doc Susanna about my worries and she just smiled...calmly bole ckp at me not to worry its pretty common for the baby at this stage not to move so much yet...and even have days whereby i can't feel him at all....we did the scan.....and listened to his heartbeat....*phew*....baru la lega hati ini...ehehhe....he's allright....scan situ....scan sini...everything is perfect....he's size is corresponding nicely with 20weeks punye measurement...he's weighing 338grams as of today....and the Doc was nice enough to print a picture of his balls for us to show to his grandparents nanti...ahahah....tgk kat Babah nye...bukan main lebo tersengih...tgk anak dia nye balls...caitsss.....

so Alhamdulillah...everything is well....mommy je yg freakazoid mcm tah pape...ahah....as I'm writing this right now...baru sudah lunch...and Junior is moving around in the tummy....i guess he's happy he's getting his first taste of KFC Zinger burger for lunch today...ahah...till then....take care mommies!

Marking the Half Way Journey

Believe it or not, I've actually reached my half way mark for my second pregnancy. Cepat betol la time di akhir zaman ni. It still feels like it was yesterday when I joke to Fahmi and told him we're expecting no.2 soon. Another 20 weeks (or maybe earlier) and we're going to have Junior out with us (Insya Allah) and Nia will become a Kakak (Hehe).

Anyway, we did our scan last month and Alhamdulillah, our Gyne managed to catch a glimpse of our Junior's gender. So Insya Allah, in June, we will have a boy joining the family. *grin* Pasnih, Babah nye dah ade rival la at home since he's not gonna be the alpha male at home anymore. Dah ade jejaka baru in the house. Huhu. Excited bagai macam. No preparation has been done for the lil kiddo as of yet.Mummy and Babah have been super busy and we might have not been paying much attention to you all this while, lil guy. But Mummy promised, we'll do much better after this.

Starting with your name. Although you are just 5 months young, we have already decided and pick your name from the longgggggg list that Mommy gave to your Babah. I pretty much over-ruled his selection, since he chose Kakak Nia's name last time - so our deal was - if we were to get a boy - I get to chose your name. (He He). So now, Mommy is trying to teach Kakak Nia, on how she can pronounce and call you later. But she's still blabbing like a baby so most of the time we ended up talking and calling you Baby instead. Ok la tu - for the time being. Hehe.
In a few months time, Babah dah promised to take us out to shop for your lil clothes and other stuff. Nothing much to buy this time - since most of the stuff are still new from Kakak Nia's time. But you will definitely get some new clothes and towels and such. Takkan la nak share plak towel sume tu kan. He He.

Ok la - we'll see you again in 1.5 weeks time during our routine date with Dr Susanna. You take care okay lil guy and remember, Mommy, Babah and Kakak Nia are all excited to meet the real you in 20 weeks time. Mwaks!

Happy Chinese New Year

weeeeehu!!! long weekend is finally here....esok i'm flying back to Kuala Terengannu with Nia....Fahmi kena tinggal in KL since he has to work both Thursday and Friday....but we'll be back here by Friday night....hehe...am actually looking forward to go back Terengganu again...although baru je balik....i love the food there.....kalo balik sana, sure la makan macam2 tak hingat....tapi this time around leceh skit la nak kluar cari makanan....cos i'm flying back, so takde kereta nak drive out..arwah Ki punye kereta ade la...but it's a manual car....and I'm sooooooo not confident to drive a manual car....the last time bawak manual time test nak amik lesen dulu kot....ahahaah.....so i'm hoping my mom lagi pro la in terms of bawak kete manual ni...ahahaha.....ade ke patut expect mak plak yg drive me out and about...ekekke...but i guess i won't be going out much, cos balik ni pon for tahlil arwah....harus la nak kena buat kerja at home kan...tak kisah la...yg pasti, nak melantak breakfast nasi lemak ikan...kekee...which i know, Nia pon suke...:p

today, although happy dah nak cuti....tapi agak frustrating at work...cos i've been having issues with one of the testing software that we're using...even after being on the phone for almost 2 hours with the IT Helpdesk, but netmeeting bagai macam....my problem is not yet resolved....balik opis Isnin ni dah ade regression test...dah nak kena gune software tu...hadoii...how la how la....pening duk pk....lantak ler....isnin pagi kena crack my head to fix this....*sigh*....another reason for not looking forward to come back to the office....

but...this morning, ade happy news from one of my girlfriends....alhamdulillah...very very very happy for her...harap-harap everything will go as plan for her....my prayers are always with you....

and last but not least, happy chinese new year to my chinese friends....safe journey back to your kampung or holiday destinations for those who are travelling....and sila la doakan so that Semek tak buat hal on the plane esok...akaka...neves hokehh!!...ekeek...happy long weekend~

Hari Isnin

Selamat pulang bekerja ye rakan-rakan. It's Monday morning again. Pagi tadi nak bangun tido Tuhan je la yang tahu susahnye. It's sooooo freakingggg cold.....hadoiii....dah la remote aircond tu jauh duk kat dalam cupboard...nak bangun switch off macam sengal je rase....Encik Husband pon 2x5....jadinye, tido la dalam kesejukan kami 3.5 beranak....ceiss...sabo je la...then bile alarm dah bunyik, masuk shower, tengok-tengok takde hot water plak...ni la akibatnye gune that solar water heater at home....our centralized manual heater dah rosak....so kalo takdok matahari, maknanya, air shower tu memang sezukkkk like ice ler....brrrrr....terpaksa la mandi ala-ala kamben....grrrr....

anyways, harini tak banyak kerja sangat.....not as bad as last week....so boleh bernapas and berblog-hopping kejap kat opis...ekeke...multitasking la...what else...kalo tgk documents je all the time, mau juling mata nanti....ekekeek.....this week is gonna be a 3 working days week for me....kamis and friday da cuti CNY.....me and Nia will me making our first trip ber-dua sahaja balik ke Kuala Terengganu Khamis ni....Fahmi has to work on both days.....so it's just gonna be the 2 of us...Tok nak buat tahlil arwah for Ki....so saje la balik...tu pon 1 night je...ingat nak stay 2 malam, tapi MAS nye ticket ya ampun punye mahal la pulak kan....AirAsia and Fireflyz pon sama je....sebab festive season ni la...nak plak last minute baru nak cari ticket...mahu idok mahalnye...so, ended up I have to pay RM400 in total for both of us, return naik MAS...boleh la....family comes first....since airlines lain pon sama je rege, might as well naik MAS je....at least dpt priority since I'm pregnant and Nia pon ade ni....fuhhh....with me luck....neves ni actually nak naik plane berdua...takut Cik Puan ni buat perangai dia la...eheheh.....so far last time pi Langkawi she's been a gem....so hopefully this time around pon sama....

next on the list adalah, furnishing umah Denai Alam...dah lama tak update about Projekt Haus kat sini..... as mentioned previously, kami dah out of budget nak furnish rumah ni....so terpaksa la buat stage-by-stage....since dapo nye cabinets are all done now....our next focus would be the family area kat atas....so that whenever we go there to sleep (ala-ala summer house wiken gitewww) ada la tv untuk hiburan seisi keluarga...especially for Nia la....so, now dah ade TV and home theatre system...smalam dah beli carpet shaggy kat IKEA.....rak TV pon dah assemble....next nak beli 2-seater sofa untuk kat atas ni....and book rack/storage cabinets plus a lot of picture frames (Ni project time pantang lar kot)....lepas abes family area ni....ingat nak cari dining table kat bawah.....or perhaps we can furnish the master bedroom dulu....see how it goes and if we have the $$$....

harap-harapnye dapat la durian runtuh lagi....ahahaha....baru la masyuk nak gi shopping furniture...:p...till then, selamat hari isnin yg sezokkkk!

it's been awhile tak post entry....the past 2 weeks have been hectic!...balik holiday pon tak ilang penat lagi....then last Thursday, my grandfather passed away....so all of us had to drive back to Kuala Terengganu....sampai pon dah kol 1 pagi...tapi alhamdulillah, sempat tengok and tolong uruskan jenazah....then on Sunday, we were back in KL.....Tuesday tu pulak my husband's aunty passed away....dah another trip but this time to the South to Muar....day trip to attend the funeral....Nia pon kena tinggal cos dah demam penat travel balik Terengganu.....*phew*....

Today plak rasa stress bagai macam....kerja menimbun suddenly ya rabbi....changes here and there....telecons....and late meetings...huwaaaa....ni nak balik pon tak boleh lagi....although its already 6.45pm....have to wait for Mr Hubs yg tetiba ade High Severity ticket plak....adoiyaiii....dah malam ni ade telecon plak at 9pm.....haruslah mak rushing balik ke rumah kena login balik terus...cian Nia....mummy takde time with her tonite....phewww....breathe in...breathe out.....saba saba....weekend is just 1 day away.....tears in eyes right now....sabo je la ye...sekian....

Holiday-holiday Malaysia

Before take off, Little Miss sangat teruja dapat naik luggage trolley at the airport.

Tu lah kan, jakunness cos ini first time dia nak naik plane.

And we've been preparing here for almost 2 weeks that we'll be going on a plane, and that it might be a lil bit noisy.

Takut jugak kang dia start buat drama dalam flight. Lucky she was a gem all thru.

Arrival at the Langkawi International Airport.

Both Babah and doter sempat pose near the aircraft.

So boleh la jadi evidence to Nia when dia dah besar nanti, yg kecik2 lagi dia da naik plane.

Second day we were there and Little Miss was sooo tired.
I was a lil bit kiasu and drafted a complete itenary for the whole of our 4 days stay.
Sampai to the minute hokehhh the activities.
Mahu tak balik hotel, sume pengsan kepenatan.
Alhamdulillah, we managed to get a good bargain for our ride there.
MYR180 for an auto MyVi for 4 days. Not bad eyh.
We budgetted MYR300 for our ride.
Almost half off.

One of the main activity at the hotel harus la berendam kat pool yg super besar tu with the bikini clad minah sallehs. Ha-Ha.
But, before that, kena la solat dulu kan.

Overall, we had fun fun fun! Insya Allah, ada rezeki, kite pergi lagi next time.

Selamat Bercuti!

I am officially on leave from tomorrow onwards for a whole one week. Sepatutnye start minggu depan baru cuti. Tapi esok I claimed for my time off in lieu after having to slave and working night and day for the past 2 weeks. Dapat claim 8 hours equivalent for a whole day off. Bliss! So selamat bercuti and will try to update as often as I can!

Weight gain....memang tak dapat diseparatekan kalo ngen orang yg pregnant ni....for the past 2 weeks, I've been having a humongous appetite...sume benda makan...nasik siap bertambah-tambah....end up now can see my buncitness aka bump already...pdhal baru masuk 4 months/15 weeks...macam mana tu...dulu pregnant 4 months boleh maintain pakai Levi's 26"....now agaknye yg 30" pon tak tentu muat kot....suddenly dapat panic attack...what if I've piled up berat yg over banyak....oh nooo....dah lama tak gi check gyne ni...so dah lama tak naik weighing scale tu...panic panic...makanya, semalam, i had to kuatkan jugak hati, and naik the weighing scale at home...tgk punye tgk, mcm tak caye je...ehhh!! baru gain 2 kilos ke....phewww...lega......ingatkan da naik 5 kilo ke ape...aahaha....so takde la Doctor nak marah nanti...checked in BabyCenter and apparently by 15 weeks, I should be gaining an average of 2.3kilos....so I am still within the safe range....checked my BMI...baru 22....so masih Normal and not Overweight....fuhh...dabel lega....

Bukan la takut nak gain weight sgt...i know dah kalo pregnant harus la naik berat kan....the reason why i'm very worried is because during my previous pregnancy, i gained as much as 22kilos!!! weight masa baru kawen was just 48kg....masa 40 weeks of pregnancy with Nia, i weighed 70kg!!...giler ke tak...ahahah.....dalam pantang 3 months tu, dapat la turun, tapi tak sampai 48kg balik....i was stuck at 52kg....4 kilos extra....as of yesterday, after dinner, my weight is 54kg.....so, ok la.....5 months to go now...and those 5 months are very challenging for me...what more with my super duper luper appetite ni...makanya, makanla mengikut keperluan and not nafsu...although serious tak tahan...ahah....ok la...selamats!...

p/s: weekend ni ade 2 potluck on saturday.....nak bawak roasted ciken...sempat ke nak attend both parties ni...pengsan!
