It's A Boy!

Congratulations congratulations and congratulations to our beloved friends, Ash & Mizi, who have just greeted their second child into this world yesterday afternoon at 3.35pm... Both baby and mummy are doing great, and I can just envy Ash for such an easy delivery that she had this time around.... Syukur Alhamdulillah...

Compared to her 1st delivery for Qadeja, Baby Umar's birth was pretty much smooth sailing and fairly quick....Ash felt some contraction started yesterday morning and by the time she reached the hospital, she was already 4cm dilated!! How awesome is that?!!!. :-)....Next, the Gyne just induced her a lil bit with some water and with just 3 push, Junior No.2 popped out weighing a whooping 3.6kg!!!

So harap-harapnye, our second one nanti pon akan jadi as easy as this....but somehow i doubt that....since my previous delivery was a C-Section and if I can go for a normal birth (which I'm hoping I can) this time around, it would be similar to someone yg baru nak beranak first time normal since the passage is not there yet...so yes, the tearing and everything lar....haihh....cuma harapnye this time, baby is totally engaged la....so that takyah go for C-Sect....

Whatever it is....let's toast to sleepless nights and diaper-changing duty! :-)...Hail Mommies~

Of Becoming a "Puan"

Fuh.....wanted to blog a few times but it has been one crazy week....with countless open house invites, and Maya's wedding tak abes lagi....and my grandfather had a stroke attack....and our Projekt Haus is also having some hiccups....*Phew*....frankly, I'm just looking forward to this coming weekend for some rest& relax (which I can pretty much see its rather unlikely too *sigh*)....anyways, first stop is Maya's Wedding....

Much anticipated by all of us....since I think everyone pon tahu how much Maya wanted to get married in comparison to the rest of us....even from the time when we were back in MMU....ahahah....she's like the girl who is always dreaming of Prince Charming and a fairytale wedding....so after much planning on her side....all of us went down south to Batu Pahat to attend the Nikah at Maya's house....Alhamdulillah, most of us were able to make it....with the exception of Mieko & Co, Dilart and Hubby, JJ & Zila....Dengan skali shake-hand je, Maya is officially the wife of Harith....so, we immediately called her Puan Maya after that...ekeke....just to tease her a bit.....at night we had the wedding reception and it was rather fun to have everyone together.....dah lama tak dapat chit-chat hu-ha-hu-ha like we used to dulu-dulu....

Then back in KL.....last Saturday, we attended her Tea Ceremony in Bangi....this is a first for me....Nad and Sar had attended a few before this....I think it was rather cool.....Harith has one of those Aunties yg boleh meng-kecoh and menggamatkan keadaan....so there were lots of laughter around us....Being a close ceremony only for families....we managed to get to know Harith punye family even better.....all I can say is.....I think Maya is very lucky to have a super cool, warm and friendly family-in-laws.....I think they are great....

And finally on Sunday, we had the last ceremony of Sambut Menantu at the UPM Banquet Hall....Here....finally, I managed to meet up with everyone.....close friends...as well as previous colleagues from HRV....we stayed longer than we planned....but not as long as what the bride would want us too....(sorry la...ade open house plak).....managed to snap pictures here and there.....got our official pelamin picture ramai-ramai....it was a nice event.....good food...and great company....looking forward to another one of these soon (this is the queue for Nad to start preparing...eheheh).....

So for Mr and Mrs Harith...Congratulations on your wedding and welcome to married life....We wish both of you a life long eternal bliss and happiness with many many children as you wish.....After this jgn lupe buat house warming and invite us over for some BBQ....ehehehe....Love u guys to bits....XOXO

Maya's Getting Hitched

In continuation from my previous entry, as planned, we successfully threw a Bachelorette Party for Maya.

The guest list consists of only close friends of the Bride-to-Be and we had the party at Italiannies Private Area, One Utama. There was a lot of laughter and giggles and I can say, the bride kena bully agak teruk by us. But all of this is in good faith. He he. Overall, all of us had fun and here are some pictures to share with everyone.

Sad News

2 of my close friends had miscarriages this week. Sorang at 8 weeks and the other at 10 weeks gestation. So they have to flush out the blood clot either by taking medications or via D&C procedure (Dilation & Curretage). Listening to them, I'm pretty sure it's quite upsetting and will somehow or rather affect your emotions. I, myself, have never experienced any miscarriages before (Alhamdulillah). But I can understand being someone who has peed on the white stick before and watching the lines turned to a clear definite blue - it's the most wonderful feeling that you can have. Knowing that inside your tummy, your junior has started developing.

Nak pulak, kalau dah start pergi jumpe gyne. And you get to see the so-called 'Baby' during the scan. And there's the heart-beat, laju macam bunyi kuda duk tengah berlari - Hehehe. Memang sangat excited!!!

I can't say much, but I am sorry that they have to go thru this - which I'm sure no woman would want to go thru. But, as they say, there's always a hikmah disebalik setiap ujian Tuhan itu. God will never test you, if He knows that you are not capable of overcoming His tests.

So, take this opportunity to keep on cuddling with your spouses, because trust me, you would barely have time for this when 'Mini You' arrives later on. Go on second - third - fourth honeymoons - and take this time to pamper yourself. Insya Allah, when the time comes, you will be mommies in no time and Nia will have more friends to play with! Yeay!

Till then, chin up, rest well, love all and of course enjoy the process of making more babies in the coming months… ;-)

Girlfriends Luncheon

After 1 month being cooped-up at home, I finally get the chance to go out for lunch with the girls. Although tak dapat meet up with the whole gang, since it's a working day, Mya & Ida managed to squeeze me in during their lunch time on an-office day. We met up kat BSC, since me and Mya are both on a strict diet, no Chillies for us this time (boo-hoo),so it was just Dome je. At least I didn't choose salad for lunch, but I had a nice baked fillet fish with steamed broccolis and carrots to go with it.

Like any other girlfriends outings, of course ade je la gossip-gossip for us. Baru sebulan setengah tak jumpe, so many things are happening. For starters, Mya told me the good news about Alif. He finally found the right someone, with the nickname 'Leo'. Tak tahu la it stands for what. Mya said girlfriend Alif nama Sharifah something. It doesn't matter, I was just super delighted to hear the news. On the same day itself I texted him and congratulate dia on the happy news. Tanye jugak la, when can Baby Nia meet Aunty Leo. Hehe. We are superbly happy for you Alif dearie. All this while, you asyik tolong kitorang je, it's about time you found the right someone for yourself pulak. Hugs and kisses from us. Mwaks!

Then it's wedding bells update for Mya's and Sarah's. Sarah will go first in July with exactly 4 wedding receptions - solemnization, 2 receptions for Sarah's side and another reception for Ilyas's. Mak aih!! More baju kena buat and more reasons for me to slim down (Uwaaaa!!). Then Mya pulak dah confirm to bernikah on Saturday, 26 Dec 2009 morning and the reception will be on the same day at night. And Harith punye side will be doing it on 2 Jan 2010. That leaves Nadya & Edward, JJ & Zila as well as Alif & Leo je. Hehe. So next year I suppose more babies will come our way. Yippie! More fwens for Baby Nia. Hehe.

Overall, we had a good 2 hours chat. Hopefully, the next time we meet up, we can have Nadya, Sarah & Mieko with us. Baru la complete the whole gang. Memang not easy to get everyone to come at the same time. Tapi will try to make time for it. Baru la ade life skit bile da jadi wife and mommy orang ni. Yer la, kadang you just need some time off for yourself. Luckily hubby is very understanding and tak kisah bini dia ni kluar for some girl-time. Maybe he also needs some time off from me kot. Thats why kasik. Hehe. Fair and square la, dia pon ade some guy-buddies time. :p
